General Peter Pace Makes Major Blunder
General Peter Pace confused many Democrat listeners today when we used an archaic term based in Latin to describe members of the gay community. His blunder? He failed to consider his audience and to use smaller words.
The term he used had not been heard in Democratic circles since JFK was President, and even then it was stretched with regards to Marilyn Monroe.
Here is the term, and its derivation:
IMMORAL - violating moral principles; not conforming to the patterns of conduct usually accepted or established as consistent with principles of personal and social ethics.
(im + moral - Middle English from the French moral from the Latin moralis).
Several liberals were seen scratching their heads after General Pace used the term.
Several journalists attempted to assist the liberals by providing alternative definitions from the American Heritage Dictionary:
1. Of or concerned with the judgment of the goodness or badness of human action and character: moral scrutiny; a moral quandary.
2. Teaching or exhibiting goodness or correctness of character and behavior: a moral lesson.
3. Conforming to standards of what is right or just in behavior; virtuous: a moral life.
4. Arising from conscience or the sense of right and wrong: a moral obligation.
5. Having psychological rather than physical or tangible effects: a moral victory; moral support.
6. Based on strong likelihood or firm conviction, rather than on the actual evidence: a moral certainty.
But, the liberals still couldn’t quite grasp what General Pace was trying to say.
Finally, a staffer turned to Hillary and explained the General’s point by stating “He said homosexuality was bad.”
HILLARY screeched
“HOMOPHO-O-O-O-O-OBE!
THERE’S A HOMOPHO-O-O-O--O-O-OBE in the building!!!!”
Liberals began scurrying around the room grabbing large objects with which to smite the heretic of liberal thought.
HILLARY then turned to Pace, “General, we don’t make judgments like that about personal behavior! You should be ashamed of yourself, you HOMOPHOBE!”
PACE : "Actually Homophobe translates as “Fear of Man”. I fear no man, not even Barak Obama, Mrs. Clinton.
“As an individual, I would not want [acceptance of gay behavior] to be our policy, just like I would not want it to be our policy that if we were to find out that so-and-so was sleeping with somebody else's wife [adultery], that we would just look the other way, which we do not. We prosecute that kind of immoral behavior". QUOTE
HILLARY: “Adultery!! ADULTERY!!! That’s hitting below the belt! Adultery causes hurt feeeeeeewings, homosexuality doesn’t hurt anyone!!”
Just then a research aide whispered in Hillary’s ear that domestic abuse among gay men is higher than all other categories (based on December 2002 study by The American Journal of Public Health) and medical problems such as Gay Bowel Syndrome often leads to problems of condyloma acuminata, hemorrhoids, nonspecific proctitis, anal fistula, perirectal abscess, anal fissure, amebiasis, benign polyps, viral hepatitis, gonorrhea, syphilis, anorectal trauma and foreign bodies, shigellosis, rectal ulcers and lymphogranuloma venereum, not to mention the virulent spread of AIDS in the homosexual community.
HILLARY: “Oh, all right, maybe they do a little fatal physical damage, but at least their feeeeeewings aren’t hurt!”
PACE: “Well then Mrs Clinton, since sexual preference shouldn't matter…I’ll send a proposal to Congress that allows male and female soldiers to shower together in the barracks.
“I’m also waiving the military law enforcement requirement that female suspects can only be searched by female military police officers. When a body cavity search needs to be done, any officer will do. Females can also search males."
Senator Kennedy’s ears pricked up:
KENNEDY: “Showering with girls? Where do I sign up, ehh? But, if I enlist will I have to go to Iraq?”
PACE: “We’ll drive off that bridge when we get to it, Senator.”
HILLARY: "Men showering with women? Staring at their naked bodies? Making women uncomfortable knowing they are the sexual object of men? That's ...that's...."
PACE: "IMMORAL, Mrs Clinton?"
