Soooo, let me get this straight...the rich can buy offsets to allow them to pollute? Why don’t they buy the offset, and then reduce their own emissions, thus creating an ACTUAL reduction in carbon emissions?
Why? Because the “elites” want you to think that their Gulfstream lifestyle is somehow beneficial to the planet.
This is bourgeois hypocrisy by the “Party of the Common Man” – the Democrats. If you can’t figure this out for yourself, drink some more Kool-aid.
The liberal elites have always bought their way out of social responsibility. The forerunner of our Police were British constables and the nightwatch. It was a social requirement that you take your turn pulling duty as the constable and nightwatch...BUT...the rich could pay someone else to perform this duty for them.
In more modern times, liberals want the government to take more taxes from you in order to care for the poor. Again, liberals want to pay their way out of social responsibilities. "Take my taxes so I don't have to touch those lowly wretches!" Conservatives have repeatedly been shown to contribute more of their OWN money to charities and to donate more time.
I can just hear the elitist conversation in the Gore household now that we know about his carbonaceous misconduct:
GORE: Damn that Right Wing Noise Machine! They found our utility bills! We have to find a way to reduce our global warming footprint.
Tipper, how many staff do we have taking care of the mansion…errr.... I mean residence?
TIPPER: Oh, about 50, Al.
GORE: You know Tipper, some of our staff are not in this country legally. In fact, most are from Mexico.
TIPPER: Yes, Al, and…?
GORE: Well, they eat a lot of beans. If we deport about 30 of them, we can reduce noxious gas emissions by 60% here at the manshuuuu---err residence and count it as a carbon offset.
TIPPER: Al, you’re a genius. I’ll call Carlos (the Coyote who brought them here), and have him return them immediately.
GORE: That's my girl.
Several valiant guardians lay dead, having done their duty by protecting those in their care.
Nancy Pelosi and Jack Murtha called a closed session of the Democrat Caucus to discuss what has become a piercing, burning stake in their collective hearts. Of course, the NSA, tasked with listening in on possible terrorist plots provided a secret recording of the meeting. The transcript follows:
Nancie (D-CA): "Fellow Democrats, the news from Afghanistan is frightening and a real threat to our future plans. Dick Cheney has been attacked in a war zone, which means...."
Jacques (D-PA): "ATTACK?!?!....uhhhh.....RUN AWAY!! RUN AWAY!!!....cut doughboys off.....duhhhhhh.......must stop war in Vietnam ...."
Sen Harry "Nuts" Reid (D-NV): "Yes, Nancie, we fully appreciate the ramifications...we can't call the Vice President a ChickenHawk anymore!!!"
(a collective groan is heard on the tape)
Sen Chuck Hangnail (R-OK) - "That's true. Now he's seen as much combat as I, and much more than Hillary or Obama. Maybe we should focus on the troops that were killed during this attack."
Nancie, Jacques, Harry Nuts (in unison): "Troops? What troops?"
Nancie: "Get serious Hangnail!!! We have more important things to worry about...like turning Americans against Bush!"

Several of the suicide and other bombings around Baghdad are the product of Al-Qaeda's continuing attempts to assert control over the insurgent elements - including their Sunni allies - the Islamic Army in Iraq.
Al-Qaeda means "barbaric thuggery" in Arabic, or at least it should. They don't play well with others, and will continue to try to control Iraq so that they can build a home state from which to plan and launch worldwide attacks. They have been in Iraq since December 2001, but did not have sufficient numbers to threaten Saddam.
With an increasing presence in west-central Iraq and Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Agencies they are forming "Al Qaeda parenthesis" around the anti-Al-Qaeda forces in the region. Their hide and hit strategy will not aid them in holding land unless they can obtain massive reinforcements.
Instead, by attacking their Sunni insurgent allies, Al-Qaeda's arrogance and need for control is leading them to be the "odd man out" in Iraq. More and more Sunni insurgents are beginning to reconsider their alliance with Al-Qaeda and soon, the insurgent call to "drive the foreigners out" will only apply to Al-Qaeda, rather than to Coalition Forces.

This week, a Wisconsin man barged into his neighbor's apartment wielding a cavalry sword after he thought he heard a woman being raped.
It turns out that the neighbor was actually watching porn and neglected to keep the volume at a (ahem) "discreet" level. The Wisconsin man made his neighbor take him around the apartment to prove no one else was there.
Hmmm... you're sitting there with your thingy hanging out and an obviously upset and possibly deranged man kicks down your front door wielding a long sword. I'm thinkin' there was probably some immediate shrinkage.
MOSUL - two Islamofascists killed and 6 captured, including a probable Al-Qaeda Leader
KORESH - A weapons cache found on a farm
SALMAN PAK - Fifteen whack-jobs whacked
RAMADI - The fine, fine adherents to the Religion of Peace use a mosque as a detonation point and a school as a terrorist training camp. A local Iraqi citizen pointed out the school to the troops.

So, Obama, Dodd, Vilsack (withdrawn candidacy), Billary, et al.....fighting the terrorists in Iraq is a good thing, no? Or do you still prefer to talk?
You better get used to fighting if you want to be President or you'll end up like this:
(Skinned and Deboned Chicken-Chickens...they don't rate as Chicken Hawks)
At the very end we see the words "Join the Energy Revolution - Greenpeace"
Now your history lesson:
Karl Marx actually liked capitalism. He knew it produced scientific innovation, mechanical invention, and one other important thing...ALIENATION.
Marx wrote that Capitalism causes Alienation, making you question religion, male/female relationships, and your family. When the proletariat reaches a high level of Alienation, the Socialist Revolution was most likely to succeed. In this video we see a "10-year-old" alienated from "adults": his/her parents.
Deny your parents - join Greenpeace.
Folks, this is straight out of Marxist theory and was used to brainwash children in the Soviet Republics.
Have you heard about the website that allows military folks to write Congress and complain about the Battle in Iraq. Here it is: http://www.appealforredress.org/
This site claims to have over one thousand service members who have signed up to whine about the War on Terror. Some of the names listed on the website allegedly include:
Pvt Beetle Bailey, USA
Col Harlan Sanders, USA
Sgt Major Ben Dover
Sgt Phil McKraken
Major Jack Ash
Private Hung Tul Oh
LtCol Phuk Yu, USAF
Some of their reasons for not wanting to go to Iraq include:
-- Hey, I only signed up for the education benefits
-- Army? I thought this was Americorps
-- They never gave me the cool gadgets I saw on TV
-- No speaka la englissss
These folks may want to double check the names of those who signed up. I'm sure Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse are there somewhere.
They have earned their beclowning.

In our War on Thugs, it seems that Iraqi insurgents are also resorting to this brazen act of cowardice (diagnosed as Chronic Small-"pee-pee"-itis). So, the US Army has developed a solution to this problem.
It is called the "Aerial Ass-Whoopin'" and was recently applied to five unfortunate jeeeeeehaaaaaaad-ists.
This was probably the work of the Apache Longbow... AIR CAV, HUA!

Jacques (Murtha): err…...gonna...cut the doughboys....duuuuuuh....bad, bad doughboys.....
Nancie: I know, let’s announce that America should pull out immediately. Hillary said 90 days, and I think we can convince the American people that 90 days is good for us too.
Jacques: When I was......ummmm.....World War II......daaaaaaaaaaarrrrr.....90 days....
Nancie: Do you think the People understand that where the British patrol, the south of Iraq, is more peaceful? If They figure that out, They’ll know that the Brits were successful in turning over power to the Iraqis.
We can’t let the People think that Iraq can be a success. Bush must lose this war!!! We need to keep Congress Democratic! We should find ways to encourage the terrorists around the Sunni Triangle.
Jacques: ....uhhh Triangle....daaaa.....Rectangle......umm.....Square....
duhhhhhh, square dancing.....Jacques like square dance....
Swing yer partner by the neck, Swing her ‘til she’s dead by heck….ha..ha..haaaaa…ha…ha
Nancie: Jacque? Jacques!...Focus for a minute!
Jacques: Umm.....errrrr...Jacques sorry...Nancie nice to Jacque....
Nancie: Should we advocate for a pull out?
Jacques: Pull out! Pull out!....I’m going dooooown....Ahhhh engine on fire......pull out NOW!
Nancie: I agree...Summon the media! Jacques, this is serious, so no talking from you. Have you taken your meds today?
Jacques: Meds goo-oo-oo-ood for Jacques.
When two dogs vie for leadership of the pack, there is bound to be blood. In this case, all of the blood has come from Al-Qaeda attacking the Sunni insurgents - trying to show who's the biggest dog in this fight.
The owner of Muj TV, (Mishan Al-Jabouri) the 24/7 Insurgent News Network (just like our CNN - Communist News Network) personally took to the airwaves to condemn Al-Qaeda's goals for destabilizing Iraq. Jabouri is part of the Islamic Army in Iraq and recently realized he made a deal with the Devil.
This came to him when he suddenly realized:
1) Hey, I don't want my home country to be a permanent home to terrorists (hmm, just figured that out, didya?)
2) The Shi'a outnumber us Sunnis about 2-to-1 (Math was never his strong suit)
3) The Shi'a are pissed off and killing a bunch of my Sunni buddies in revenge for Al-Qaeda's bombing of Shi'a marketplaces
4) Al-Qaeda has been killing Sunni leaders who don't cooperate with them -- and I'm a Sunni leader (YIKES!)
Now Jabouri wants Al-Qaeda out.
Allaaaaaaaahu Akbar, the boy has finally seen the light!
Be HEALED my Brother! The stupidity has left your bo-o-o-o-dy. Thank you MO-hammed (peace be upon him) LALALALALALALALALALALALALA!!!!
If only he had read Hamilton in Federalist #1 maybe this jerkoff could have figured this out about 4 years ago. Hamilton said:
"Among the most formidable of the obstacles which the new Constitution will have to encounter may readily be distinguished the obvious interest of a certain class of men in every State to resist all changes which may hazard a diminution of the power, emolument, and consequence of the offices they hold under the State establishments; and the perverted ambition of another class of men, who will...hope to aggrandize themselves by the confusions of their country"

1) YOU CANNOT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS
Write your Congressperson today and e-mail them the Roggio article.
On the other hand, one young communications major, Ashley Kinsey, felt Nancie was a "rock star" ("vedette" in the liberal language of surrender) and was glad to see her. Gushing Over Botox.
Sorry Nancie, President Bush already included those measures in his budget.
Nancie insists that illegal immigrants be afforded the same in-state tuition rates as legal citizens. Speaking in the land of Prop 300, the referendum in which Arizonans overwhelmingly said "no" to in-state benefits for illegals, Nancie felt compelled to insist that your money subsidize those who broke the law. So, let me get this straight Nancie, illegals pay in-state tuition, but an American student from another state must pay more?
Yes, I know, some illegal children are in America because of their parents. These students didn't personally break the law; however, others did. The question becomes whether we want to fiscally punish the American people by absorbing the lower rate of tuition into our colleges -- charging American kids (and parents) more money to offset lower costs to those who are federal fugitives?
For those who didn't personally break the law, unfortunately, they should be also pay the out-of-state tuition rate. There is no real way to investigate whether they came across on their own or with their parents. And, creating yet another government bureaucracy to answer these questions would probably cost more than the in-state/out-of-state offsets.
The only compromise I can see on this issue is to allow ICE to make a determination on prospective immigrant students. If ICE cannot verify that the parents brought them across the border prior to their 16th birthday, they pay the full freight. But, even then, if we allow these students to pay less, we create an incentive for parents to break the law by illegally bringing their children into the country. Meanwhile your children (and you) get stuck with a bigger bill.
One of my students is in this predicament. After many years his formerly illegal immigrant parents are now legal citizens, but he is not. I encouraged him to file for citizenship. While the system is processing his request, the responsibility for his situation does not lie with America, it falls on his parents - those who put him in this position to begin with.
I know this idea of parental responsibility will offend some of you liberals. Sorry for that.

With the DumbasCraps in the House and Senate trying to undermine the troops, the American people have taken note, and at least for now, do not want an immediate withdrawal.
Here's a pic of one poll: IBD/TIPP Poll
...and a URL for another: Angus Reid
For the libs who would like to refute this, do something different before responding, pay attention to the questions asked during the poll.
These are the words of Rep Sam Johson (R-TX) during the House debate on H.R. 645 "Let's Abandon the troops in Iraq"
Johnson was a 29-year veteran of the military and flew missions over Korea and Vietnam. He was a Prisoner of War for 7 years during Vietnam; more than half of that in solitary confinement.
But here are a few snippets for you to consider: "I view the debate on the floor not just as a U.S. Congressman elected to serve the good people of the Third District in Texas, but also through the lens of a life-long fighter pilot, student of war, a combat warrior, a leader of men, and a Prisoner of War. “We POWs were still in Vietnam when Washington cut the funding for Vietnam. I know what it does to morale and mission success. Words can not fully describe the horrendous damage of the anti-American efforts against the war back home to the guys on the ground. “Our captors would blare nasty recordings over the loud speaker of Americans protesting back home…tales of Americans spitting on Vietnam veterans when they came home... and worse. “We must never, ever let that happen again. “The pain inflicted by your country’s indifference is tenfold that inflicted by your ruthless captors.
But here are a few snippets for you to consider:

Debating non-binding resolutions aimed at earning political points only destroys morale, stymies success, and emboldens the enemy.
“The grim reality is that this House measure is the first step to cutting funding of the troops…Just ask John Murtha about his ‘slow-bleed’ plan that hamstrings our troops in harm’s way.
“Now it’s time to stand up for my friends who did not make it home – and those who fought and died in Iraq - so I can keep my promise that when we got home we would quit griping about the war and do something positive about it…and we must not allow this Congress to leave these troops like the Congress left us.
“God bless you and I salute you all. Thank you.”
How exactly do these Judas' not understand the negative impact of this resolution on the troops? Do they think the troops (who overwhelmingly want to finish this fight) are just stupid little children who need their "grownup" leadership. Those troops and their NCOs piss out more leadership in their urine everyday than these pompous asses will ever possess.
Voting in the Democrat Block were:
Senators John W. Whiner of Virginia, Arlen Sphincter of Pennsylvania, Chuck Hangnail of Nebraska, Gordon "Silver Spoon" Smith of Oregon, Norm "I used to be a Democrat" Coleman of Minnesota, and Olympia Snowe Job and Susan "the Ragin' RINO" Collins, both of Maine.
You have abandoned the troops and are all "dead" to me. I will never again speak your names without including the word "F*ckin'" (i.e. "F*ckin' Sphincter voted to kneecap our troops AGAIN!")
Coalition forces captured the leader of a car-bomb network HIDING IN A HOSPITAL. Hmm, isn't that against the Geneva Conventions of War? Will the Main stream media report this?
Four Al-Qaeda down, four captured. Found HIDING AMONG WOMEN AND CHILDREN. Hmm, isn't that against the Geneva Conventions of War? Will the Main stream media report this? Wait, didn't I already ask that question?
Iraqi SWAT captures Al-Qaeda leader in Mosul. No women, children or hospitals known to be involved - for a change.
An outline of the new Iraq strategy and the impact of Democrat whining.
Okay, this one will be in the MSM, but not with the same opinion:
Senate Republicans Block the Senate from Committing an Act of Utter Stupidity: I finally agree with John McCain on something. In this article he states the non-binding "Let's Bitch Our Way Out of Iraq" measure is "meaningless, and told one (New Hampshire) audience the symbolic measures are 'insulting to the public and the soldiers.'" - right on!

....PAGING AMANDA MARCOTTE
.... PAGING AMANDA MARCOTTE
.....Your 15 minutes are officially over.
The former Edwards' Presidential High Mufti of the Electronic Word "quit" the Edwards campaign several days ago. Yeah, that's it, she "quit". We all know what the word "quit" means in politics.
Having told her story to Salon, Marcotte still doesn't get it. To her, when religious people tell the truth (using her own words), Ms. Marcotte insists it is a "smear".
Maybe she thinks the Catholic Church (her perpetual target) should canonize her as a martyr instead.
The Word according to Saint Amanda of the Unhinged (patron saint of the revoltingly bigoted) is available for everyone to read. Her own words hanged her but she is still fundamentally incapable of taking responsibility.
Another word for this type of behavior is "arrogance".
What does this say about the Left who rally to her side or about Edwards who hired her?
No doubt she has noticed the drop in traffic at her Blog of Hate. Similarly, she is no longer worth the time it takes to write about her, even on this simple, insignificant little blog.
And so, this is the last post in which I will waste electrons regarding this vile little creature.
Bye, bye, Ms. Marcotte. I do hope you find another job - so this will help. I hope you find the happiness that is so obviously missing from your lonely, and now, irrelevant life.

This, just in from the House of Representative: By a vote of 246 to 182 the House votes to...
"RUN AWAY..... RUN AWAY.
Abandon hope all ye brave men. Ignore the sacrifice of those who have fallen, for most assuredly their blood will mean nothing. They will be remembered as having failed to win the Battle for Iraq.
And we, the DumbasCraps, Lords and Masters of the House of Representatives, will finally have a victory over Bush. That is all that matters."
Today the Democrats passed a non-binding resolution condemning our troops' execution of the battle for Iraq. They rejected the plan of the man (Gen Petraeus) that the Senate just unanimously confirmed to run the new battle plan.
While Democrats hark back in outrage at Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo Bay, they ignore their own complicity in torture; torture of American troops. Vote by vote, step by step, the Democrat-led Congress continues a relentless psychological torture of your military men and women through their complete lack of faith in the soldiers’ ability to defeat terrorists.
America’s bravest, putting their lives on the line, fighting the evil of Al-Qaeda each day, hear the voices; voices far away from the real battles. Washington is no longer a fetid swamp, but foul and putrid offal still flows from the mouths of short-sighted power seekers; washing over the minds of the soldier.
It took just a little over five years for these Perfumed Princes and Princesses to forget the cowardice and brutality of the enemy. They, ruling from their pretentious fiefdoms, discount how they’ve been kept safe by better men and women. Intoxicated and blinded by their own power and thirst for more, they attack only those who do them no real harm. Attacking our soldiers for dying, other politicians for wanting this fight, but Al-Qaeda -- no, they cannot attack Al-Qaeda – Al-Qaeda might fight back.
In their blindness they cannot envision the greater stage on which this war is fought. They cannot grasp Hegel’s Cunning of Reason – the historic upheavals caused by nation-states that lead to progress for all Mankind. They are concerned with today, yet cannot understand how defeating terrorists today can improve the world tomorrow.
Instead they use hyperbole to denigrate our soldiers’ ability and competence. Make no mistake, when they claim the President is incompetent, they really speak about the performance of our troops. They declare that 3,000 American casualties over 4 years is failure. In this they ignore history. Since they often use Vietnam as their point of comparison, consider 1968, the year John Kerry claimed he fought the Viet Cong. In Kerry’s time, at 1388 casualties per month, four years of casualties would amount to 67,000 American dead. Are today’s troops incompetent? Hardly. Today’s troops are fabulously effective at protecting themselves and killing the terrorists that flock to Iraq.
The Pentagon doesn’t announce enemy casualties, but from my research and military experience (from 1979 - 2005), I conservatively estimate we are killing the terrorists at a 10:1 ratio. If we’ve lost 3,000 the terrorists have lost 30,000. Al-Qaeda sending more terrorists to Iraq can only benefit the entire world. Incompetent? No, our soldiers are valiant, effective, and changing the world. But what do the Democrats tell you and them?
Have you heard that Democrats support the troops but not the war? How is that done exactly? I can understand if you support a singular soldier that you personally know. But, when you state their efforts are collectively incompetent and don’t support their mission, you cannot support the troops as a body. If you really want to support the troops, increase their numbers. By doing so you reduce the number of times each individual soldier deploys away from their family. Reverse Clinton’s draconian cuts in manpower, today.
Instead, Jack Murtha is trying to pass legislation that would require units to prove they are trained, ready and have been back in the United States for at least one year before deploying to Iraq. Sounds sensible doesn’t it? However, the troops now in Iraq must be extended until Murtha thinks the proof is sufficient. Murtha (the Democrat seeking mainly to rebuke the President) will require troops to stay in the combat zone well past their return date. The Democrats are at war with Bush, not Al-Qaeda. Does this make you feel safer? Meanwhile our troops are left in Murtha-limbo, not knowing when they will return; not knowing when they may see their families.
Some believe that psychological torture is much worse than physical.
Stop the torture.
The House Version, entitled H.R. 645: "Let's Abandoned Troops in Iraq", has offered some interesting quotes from representatives:
Sestak (D-PA) stated that we have degraded our military through overdeployment. (Well, yes, since Clinton cut the military by one-third we haven't had the troops to fight a real war).
SLeestak also bemoaned us creating a "culture of dependency" in Iraq...I hope to hear this same whining from him when Grandma Botox moves to re-authorize Welfare or add Nationalized Health Care. We already have Social Security, Medicaid, et al, that create a enough of a "culture of dependency".
Oberstar (D-MN) Claimed the troops don't want to be there. And he goes on to ponder...Has anyone asked what the troops think?
As a matter of fact they have. All of my former troops that are there know the mission, they feel they are making a difference, and though leaving family is hard, they're happy to be doing what they're doing. Perhaps Oberstar should think before speaking - oh wait, then he would have to change parties.
Then from Sam Johnson (R-TX) a man who flew combat missions over Korea, and Vietnam; a man wounded and held captive by the Viet Cong: he talked of the Viet Cong blaring news of the American public's weakness and lack of support. Rep Johnson told of how his right side is partially paralyzed from his captivity. He chided Rep Jack Murtha for a "slow-bleed" plan to cut off funding for our troops. And finally, he exhorted the Congress to never abandon our troops while they are fighting for us. He rejects a non-binding resolution that means nothing and harms our soldiers. I did not record the speech, but it was moving. As he slowly limped away from the podium, the House erupted in a standing ovation. Even some DumbasCraps were standing...but did they get the message?
I've contacted my representative (a Republican) and asked him to do me a favor during the vote. I'll tell you what that favor was on Friday.
Then, try this post from Cold Fury.
And this is why he's so angry.
It's always bad for liberals when conservatives sign up for their organizational mail.
Read the links above only if you are really prepared to learn the truth about the Democrats.
The Victory Caucus/Murtha link is explosive and borders (or steps over the line) on real, no kidding, 100% pure treason in time of war.
But don't worry folks: she's safe, I repeat, she's safe!! She did not run out of fuel as previously believed.
Seems that "Botox" Pelosi didn't have any trouble making it to California using Denny Hastert's old airplane after all.
What was all that about needing a bigger aircraft?
Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri (Al-Qaeda's #2 for those of you keeping score) released another videotape which is posted on SITE, February 12, 2007.
Zawahiri called for unity among all Muslims from every nation.
“I ask my Muslim brothers in general and the callers and Mujahideen and their media organizations (editor's note: ABC, NBC, CBS) in particular to highlight the concept of Islamic brotherhood and disown all partisanship, loyalties and animosities based on nationalism, and I ask them not to allow the wrongdoing of a faction or entity motivate them to speak evil of that party's entire people or race.”
Isn't that sweet. Mr. Zawahiri wants everyone to "just get along". So, are we gonna have a party, Ayman; holding hands and singing Kumbaya?
No, he calls for...
"Muslims to serve in jihad in Mauritania, as well as Afghanistan, Iraq, Algeria, and Somalia, either by bearing arms, monies, or words. He sends greetings to the “fledging” Islamic State of Iraq and members of its leadership, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi and Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, and the Mujahideen in both Algeria and Somalia."
Zawahiri is reaching out across ethnic, national, and religious lines in an effort to unite Islamofascists of all stripes to fight jeeeeehahhhhhhd....lalalalalalalalalalalala.
Wait a minute, wasn't Al-Qaeda supposed to be an exclusively Wahhabist strain of insanity? Seems Ayman needs a little help.
What'samatta' Ayman, are all of your troops getting Bushwhacked?
Zawahiri also demonized George W. Bush by declaring he is an “alcoholic”, addicted to drinking, lying, and gambling"
(Zawahiri included English sub-titles so that Democrats in Congress could write down some talking points.)
However, but, comma, pause, these are not just a "few" sniper rifles. One hundred of the eight hundred rifles shipped to Iran by Austria have been discovered during raids by coalition forces. That's more than 10 percent (12.5% to be exact) of the entire supply of sniper rifles in Iran's purchase.
Ahem, don't you think the Iranians would have missed those one hundred .50 caliber rifles...that cost $15,000 per copy?
Naaaah, just a clerical error (no pun intended).
