Independence Day (1996)

I was just watching the movie Independence Day and something struck me (it was my wife telling me to get off the damn computer).

But besides that, I noted that the aliens pre-positioned their forces before striking at major capitols around the world. This is happening again.

If you read the news from the major democracies around the world you'll find radical Mooselimbs immigrating into those countries; pre-positioning themselves. Once they gain citizenship, they strike at Democracy by insisting Shari'a Law be recognized, or that they won't scan pork products at the local Quicky-Mart.

Also in that movie, before the aliens strike, there are people climbing to the tops of buildings
with signs of "Welcome". These are the liberal Moonbats (whether in or out of Congress). They are summarily dispatched in blinding blue light -- this was the first highlight of the movie.

Later, a Bush-like former fighter pilot and now President, Bill Pullman rallies the remaining dregs of society to retake the world from the invaders. This is us, on the conservative side of the argument. Typically, the Yur-a-peein's wait for the US to coordinate the counteroffensive.

My question is: why let it get this far? Every time an immigrant tries to change our way of life - drive them out of your town. This is not their country until they accept it as it is. Don't be bringing' that shiite here, baby.
I'm just waiting for the Republican nominee who will speak these words:

"And so...Let us declare our independence from the ignorant libtards who hold up
those signs of welcome...those mewling DumbasCraps who run from the fight against the real infidels. Let us stand against the Liberal ass-clowns who can't see the threat staring them in their botox-laden faces...they who give succor and embolden the enemy."

Nominate Ann Coulter for President

(This analogy may also be applied to illegal immigrants if you wish, but I see Radical Mooselimbs as a greater threat)

The words of another hero. This one bears the name of one of my favorite people in this world.

"Message to the Democratic Party Leadership", from Cpl Mason

POSTED AT THEODORE'S WORLD:

"Cpl Chris Mason recorded a video message for the Democratic Party Leadership before he was killed in action in Iraq. Chris was killed by Al Qaeda terrorist. He produced this video on November 12th 2006 at FOB Summerall.

This video just recently worked its way to me (his dad) on March 23rd 2007, now I am posting it to the internet for him. It reflects his beliefs about the war in Iraq, the people of Iraq, freedom, why he joined the US military, what he expected after joining the military, and if the warriors lost in the war will be lives wasted."

Cpl Mason was killed on November 28th, 2006 by Al-Qaeda Terrorist forces operating in Iraq.
He was laid to rest December 12th 2006, exactly thirty days after making this video statement to the Democratic Party Leadership.

The Bribing of America Continues

Kim Jung Il: "Arec Barween is paying for a troop's cahRRege. What a NICE GUY!"

I found that article on MSN and read the comments. About 1/3 see this for what it is: A "PR" STUNT aimed at us; the dumb general public. This comes on the heels of the corrupt DumbasCrap Congress spending BILLIONS of OUR tax dollars to bribe their way to passage of the Let's Bitch Our Way Out of Iraq legislation.

Begin Phase II of the bribery and demagoguing. The Hollywood wing of the DumbasCraps are getting into the act. Apparently Arec read about a troop preparing to go to war and decided he would make her dream of being a biochemist come true, after she leaves the Army.

But, as is usually the case, Hollywood's military geniuses don't have all the facts. What Arec probably doesn't realize (because he's never served) is that troops can opt-in to a $37,000 G.I. Bill that the services provide to military members. Additionally, while a troop is serving, they receive 100% tuition assistance.
By the time Pvt Resha Kane leaves the Army, she may already have an Associate's Degree and possibly a Bachelor's degree. Most Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) offer distance education services to ensure you can continually improve yourself even while serving overseas.

Arec, she may not even need your "services" after she leaves ours. Again, you would have known this, if you had ever served.

About a third or more of the comments on the MSN site were singing the praises of Monsieur Barween. One commenter named Pattypooh wrote "Just sitting here crying...way to go Alec. God bless you. Can't see through my tears, gotta go!"

Pattypooh
, you have been beclowned.

One positive thing I can say about Mr Barween; I loved him in Team America: World Police, a true tour de force.

NEWS FROM THE FRONT - Things you didn’t see in the MSM (updated from 17 March 2007)

We all heard about the suicide bombings that led to 152 killed in Tal Afar and the 70 killed in reprisal by militia and off duty policemen. What we didn’t hear is:

Coalition forces also captured three other individuals believed to be key members of the network, a vehicle prepared as a car bomb, and a cache of weapons and explosives.
- Early this morning in Mosul, Coalition forces captured a former Saddam Fedayeen leader involved in setting up training camps in Syria for Iraqi and foreign fighters.
- Airstrike used to kill terrorists - In a rural area southeast of Ar Rutbah, Coalition Forces attempted to detain four armed terrorists. One terrorist detonated an explosive device killing himself. The other three attempted to escape in a vehicle. Determining hostile intent, Coalition Forces engaged the vehicle with precision fires from a fixed wing aircraft killing the three armed men. Immediately following the explosion, approximately 30 terrorist fighters engaged the compound with small-arms fire, rocket propelled grenades and mortars.
The Soldiers returned fire with small arms, mortars and artillery from Regimental Combat Team 6.
Approximately five minutes into the attack, Soldiers engaged a dump truck following the same path as the previous suicide attacker, causing it to also detonate.
Initial estimates indicate as many as 15 terrorists were killed.
Eight U.S. Soldiers were wounded in the attack. One was evacuated to a nearby Coalition medical facility and the remaining seven were treated on site and returned to duty.

The other two occupants were identified as Ahamed Hassan Niami and Hamid Selman Alawi who are likewise affiliated with the network.
It is estimated that since Nov. the car bombs from this cell have killed approximately 900 innocent Iraqi citizens; another 1,950 have been wounded.
- 26 March Coalition Forces killed five terrorists and detained 22 suspected terrorists in operations during the past week targeting foreign fighter facilitation and al-Qaeda in Iraq networks.

Fat, Daft, and Stupid is No Way to Go Through Life

I never knew that Rosie O' Donnell actually explained the loss of WTC #7 by saying:

"it was the foist time in hista-ry that fyah melted steel."

WHAAAT?!?!! Ms O'DouchBag, I grew up in Pittsburgh when we were still making massive quantities of steel.

Please allow me to educate you:
-- fire is actually necessary to make steel

-- fire melts steel
-- molten steel is then poured into ingots, bars, and beams - while it is still molten - from fire

However Rosie, in this case, the steel didn't need to "melt" (as you likely envision a big, fat grilled cheese sandwich). It only needed to be heated enough to bend. Once it begins to bend the redistribution of weight moves inward, creating an accelerated implosion. When a building implodes, the rapid displacement of mass and air creates an outward wave - shattering windows and causing other phenomena that morons call "explosive charges".

OH, WAIT ROSIE, I'M WRONG... I forgot that steel is really formed into different shapes by the STEEL MELTING FAIRY.
Yes, cold, hard steel is magically transformed into ingots, bars, and beams by this mystical fairy:

He even made a movie about it for you to absorb into your adipose filled cranium

Say Hello to..
The Mk-19 Dash3 Grenade Launcher

This little thumper can spit out 450-550 rounds per minute, but it ain't shootin' bullets; it's launching 40mm Grenades out to 2200 meters (about 1.35 miles).

One High Explosive Dual Purpose (HEDP) round has a 5 meter kill radius and 130 meter casualty radius (bigger than a football field).
It can also launch White Star parachute for illumination, Buckshot and to handle those Marching Libtards we have the CS, Sponge, and Rubber Bullet rounds.

But the Mk-19-3 is best at Urban Renewal -- check the video from Fallujah:

More Confirmation of Bill Roggio's Observations

This just in from the AP: Sunni tribes are turning against Al-Qaeda. Well, yeah, Bill Roggio has been telling us this for some time now. This is one part of what we need to beat insurgents. The next is to foster economic conditions that create stakeholders in Iraqi success. General Patreus knows this... he wrote it.

You can't beat an insurgency by force of arms alone. I received quite a mix of opinions when I posted this type of information regarding counter-insurgency doctrine.

Some thought 500,000 troops would do it. Others (mostly women) understood that
it is not so much the size that matters, it's how you use it (women are so smart...sigh...). I respect differing opinions and thoughtful debate. Tell me what you think, but more importantly, tell me why.

On the other hand...one nameless guy from Texas still doesn't get it (too much red meat by mom
lowered his sperm count. He pretends he has gigantic testicles so that no one finds out about them thar' itty bitty marbles). His favorite military tactic: "Nuke 'em!"

Now, even the
AP HAS PICKED UP THE STORY . Ahhh, finally. Maybe the light bulb will go on for some; maybe nawt, YEeeHaaaww.

My Bologna Has a First Name -- iiiit's C-H-U-C-K

Actually, this post is more about Weiners, but not just any Weiners, this is about Chucky Schumer's Weiner. We already know he's full of bologna.

Laura Weiner pled guilty to stealing the identity of Maryland's former Lt Governor Michael Steele. Laura Weiner was a staffer for Chucky at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

On March 26, 2006 she was sentenced, received community service, and was supposed to appear one year later to determine if she met the conditions of the sentence.

One year has passed ...has anyone heard about this case in the MSM? Is the MSM concealing yet another Corruption in Congress story?

They covered up for Feinstein until she recently resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations Committee. Now they aren't reporting the outcome of a FELONY by one of CHUCKY SCHUMER's interns.

I'll keep looking but I doubt I'll find any coverage. Until that time I'm going to climb to the top of the highest building and keep shouting:

"WHERE IS CHUCKY'S WEINER?? HAS ANYONE SEEN CHUCKY'S WEINER?"

Where Is Chucky's Weiner Hiding?

Lefties Legislate Lilly-Livered Law

Okay, now they went and did it!!

The Senate finally passed the "Let's Bitch Our Way Out of Iraq" bill. Two Repugnicans (Chuck Hangnail and Gordon "Fisherman" Smith of Oregon) voted with the other liberals.
So now what?
I have decided to offer peace to the Democrats.
In an act of selfless concern I'd like to offer Senator Harry Reid a gift. It is a gift to relieve the pain he is about to feel.
Harry, here ya' go...

When George Bush shoves that veto up your bony little posterior, you're gonna need this....

If the wipes aren't your style, the pain and itching can also be relieved by this version...

Yes Harry, with your finger, but please put on the glove first.
P.S. you're welcome.

The Sunni War with Al-Qaeda

Bill Roggio writes a compelling piece on how the Sunni tribes are continuing to reject the leadership of Al-Qaeda in Iraq.
This article provides an interesting read, timeline, and inside look at the political dynamics of this battle.

There's a New Congress in Town

With those hurtful words (hurtful to me anyway) Nancie Pisslosi ushered in her vision for a New World Order. One where the Cowardly Congress will take charge of this war and run this country into the ground with pork-driven bribes and spineless determination.

NOT IN MY NAME: What do the troops think about being used by the Democrats?

Check out BLACKFIVE - one of the top MILBLOGGERS.
He hasn't received one e-mail supporting the "good works" of the Cowardly Congress.

How to Win in Iraq

Some think that my nutcracker analogy (below) is not sufficient to win the war in Iraq. This would be true if we were talking about standard conventional war; we aren't. This analogy is brought from actually studying how to beat an insurgency -- not just opinions or feeeeewings.

Here's an excellent article from author and professor of history Arthur Herman:

H/T Den of Hydralisks

Adages of War

Adages are traditional sayings or proverbs that we fall back on when we see a circumstance that we believe can be explained by spouting a short, pithy statement.
An example would be when we find out some bad news and spout something like "Life's a bitch".

Throughout our Global War on Terror and particularly in the battle for Iraq, we've heard several adages. So, let's look at a few and see if they fit the circumstance.

1) “Stay the course”. Does it fit? No way. This is patently un-American. We don’t like waiting in lines at the DMV, we want our burgers handed to us from the drive-thru window in less than two minutes; surely we can conquer and stabilize a county in less than a half-hour. "Stay the Course" only applies to those with stamina...impatient children and DumbasCraps need not apply.

2) “Nuke ‘em ‘til they glow… There’s one goober in Texas that thinks killing everyone in Iraq is the only way to win ( Yee-hawww ). But in one of his own posts another military “war planner” and scholar thinks differently than does he. Of course, this here Texan pro'lly just thinks that there Colonel is a damned Moonbat! The extent to which a person takes themselves way too seriously is inversely proportional to the amount of knowledge they have on a subject. They take a WAG (wild assed guess), tie it to their ego, then spout things like "Nuke 'em 'til they glow, YEeehaww!"

3) Lastly, let's think about the House and Senate votes. Their trite exclamations of a "failed strategy" don't really reach the level of an adage. For the House and Senate I believe a pertinent modification of one adage would be:

“You can lead a Jackass to war, but you can’t make him think”.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketJackasses are short-sighted, stubborn, and not too intelligent. Democrats are selling out our troops and working hard to leave a vacuum of power in a large Middle Eastern country. What are they thinking?

The Democrats certainly must agree with Aldrich Ames, (the CIA agent who sold out at least 100 American operatives to the Soviets and left a vacuum in our counter-intelligence efforts), when he said "I am a traitor, but I don't consider myself a traitor." Perhaps that should be the adage applied to the DumbasCraps.

Do You Know Me?

Here's my resume:

- I was the first President of the Bosnian Serb Republic after Yugoslavia was divided by the Imperialist Americans.

- I was also tried in absentia at the Hague for the following trumped up charges:
  • Two counts of genocide (Article 4 of the Statute - genocide, complicity in genocide);
  • Five counts of crimes against humanity (Article 5 of the Statute - extermination, murder, persecutions on political, racial and religious grounds, persecutions, inhumane acts (forcible transfer);
  • Three counts of violations of the laws or customs of war (Article 3 of the Statute - murder, unlawfully inflicting terror upon civilians, taking hostages);
  • One count of grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions (Article 2 of the Statute - willful killing).
Do you know me yet?

Maybe this will help you - while the Americans under President Clinton tried to catch me, they failed. I'm still a free man and laughing at you with my buddy Ratko Mladic. We're both in hiding, and I have evaded the Americans since 1995. That's 12 years and you haven't found me yet.

Osama? Osama who? I helped kill 200,000 people. He's an amateur at killing and at hiding compared to me. Good job, Clinton - I outlasted you, you perv!

I'm Radovan Karadzic.

I live in East L.A. and I carry

Congressional Surrender

Today the Senate joined the House by throwing their hands up and yelling

"THREAT? WHAT THREAT? DON'T YOU KNOW ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE?!?"

While still holding their hands in the air, they grabbed some white flags borrowed from the Fwench, and danced around chanting:

"Hey hey ho ho, Evil Bush has got to go"
"We won, you lost, and we don't care what it will cost"

Congressional Democrats were soon joined by Code Pink Taco - a coalition of anti-war and pro-illegal immigration professional protesters.

This comes at a time when we have captured leaders of a major car bomb network and the Sunni tribes are turning against Al-Qaeda. Bill Roggio has been reporting this rift for weeks, finally the MSM takes note.
What could disrupt the Sunni attacks on Al-Qaeda?
-- Only us, if we show we aren't willing to "stay the frickin' course". If the Sunnis think we'll leave the job unfinished, they'll turn on us instead.

Today's Senate vote is just such a pronouncement.

Once again...thank you America for your thoughtful votes last November

Our Military

I received this e-mail today...I hadn't seen it in a while...

The average age of the military man is 19 years. He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who, under normal circumstances is considered by society as half man, half boy Not yet dry behind the ears, not old enough to buy a beer, but old enough to die for his country. He never really cared much for work and he would rather wax his own car than wash his father's; but he has never collected unemployment either.

He's a recent High School graduate;
he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away He listens to rock and roll or hip-hop or rap or jazz or swing and a 155mm howitzer. He is 10 or 15 pounds lighter now than when he was at home because he is working or fighting from before dawn to well after dusk.
He has trouble spelling, thus letter writing is a pain for him, but he can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark. He can recite to you the nomenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if he must. He digs foxholes and latrines and can apply first aid like a professional. He can march until he is told to stop or stop until he is told to march.

He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation, but he is not without spirit or individual dignity. He is self-sufficient He has two sets of fatigues: he washes one and wears the other. He keeps his canteens full and his feet dry. he sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never to clean his rifle. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes, and fix his own hurts. If you're thirsty, he'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food. He'll even split his ammunition with you in the midst of battle when you run low.He has learned to use his hands like weapons and weapons like they were his hands. He can save your life - or take it,
because that is his job.
He will often do twice the work of a civilian , draw half the pay and still find ironic humor in it all.
He has seen more sufferingand death then he should have in his short lifetime.

He has stood atop mountains of dead bodies, and helped to create them. He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and is unashamed.
He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to 'square-away' those around him who haven't bothered to stand, remove their hat, or even stop talking. In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful. Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom . Beardless or not, he is not a boy. He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years
He has asked nothing in return, except our friendship and understanding. Remember him, always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood.

And now we even have women over there in danger, doing their part in this tradition of going to War when our nation calls us to do so.
As you go to bed tonight, remember this shot..
A short lull, a little shade
and a picture of loved ones in their helmets

"Lord, protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need."

You Can't Support the Troops Unless...

...you vote for my BILL!!!!

Rep. Jacques Murtha insists that the Iraq Supplemental Bill is all about the troops.

If that were true, why did he have to load it with more pork than Nancie Pelosi has gotten from her husband during their entire marriage?

This isn't about the troops; it's about bribery you decrepit, doddering fool. (And they call Bush a liar.)

You'll note that I used Paint to drop in the ears and nose on Murtha. I didn't take the time to Photoshop it in. This is an analogy of the Murtha/Pelosi legislation.

Paint is a like a blunt instrument; simplistic, unrefined, not given to subtlety, nor is it easy to correct your mistakes.
If Murtha/Pelosi get their way it will be through incivility, blatant bribery, and deliberate deceit. The Lunatic Left will never let them reverse course or send support to the troops no matter what happens during the battle for Iraq.

Remember America, you voted these pigs into power.

Where's My Nutcracker?

I've noticed that some bloggers believe that sending 500,000 troops into Iraq would have
been a better plan than the current war strategy. That's exactly how many troops we had in
Vietnam (actually 541,000) -- how did Vietnam work out? I'll tell you how -- we lost 58,226 KIA or MIA. In 1968 we were losing 1,388 military personnel per MONTH or 2100% more than the average monthly casualties in Iraq.

These critics remind me of Democrats - you know, the ones that think they can run this war better than the military.

Think of Iraq as a walnut. Should we crack it with a nutcracker or with a sledgehammer? If you use a sledgehammer you destroy the important part of the nut - in this case, the civilian population inside. Choosing the sledgehammer is the route of simplistic, childlike, Rambo inspired ignorance. The nutcracker is used with a bit more skill: too much pressure still cracks the meat of the nut, too little doesn't break down the hard outer shell.

The critic's first mistake is forgetting that we already won the war for Iraq. The Iraqi Republican Guards folded like a geisha's fan; we are now fighting an insurgency that hides among non-combatant civilians. Should we sledgehammer the civilians too??

The second and most telling mistake made by these pseudo-military geniuses is to equate MASS with victory. MASS is the military term that means having the forces you need in the right place, at just the right time. It is less about having overwhelming strength at all times. When fighting an insurgent force, you would have to have bodies on every street corner in every town to ensure enough MASS to ensure a rapid counter-attack. Even then, massive numbers provide no benefit.
It is counter-intuitive, but true, that the more troops you have, the less efficient your counter-insurgent tactics become. You are constantly seen as the Stormtroopers; this constant presence becomes an irritant in and of itself. Those troops are constant targets.
And what do you do with all those forces? After a sneak attack, if the insurgent runs into a mosque full of Mooselimbs, do you level the mosque? That is the main advantage given by massive numbers; being able to obliterate the enemy at the point of attack. Are the critics saying we should level mosques in order to kill one Islamofascist? If so, then we do need 500,000 troops.
It is better to have MANEUVER and ECONOMY OF FORCE. This creates more agility and reduces targets of opportunity. When attacked by one Islamofascist, you develop MASS, then use small team tactics to clear the mosque (rather than nukes). More importantly, you use agile forces to develop intel, then track and hunt the enemy. You hit and run, using their own tactics against them. They never know when you're coming and it's harder for them to target you.

If we were fighting this battle using Napoleonic rules of war we would line up our troops, and they'd line up theirs, then charge at each other. Insurgent war requires a distinctly different battle plan. We must adjust to their tactics as they adjust to ours on a tactical level, not a strategic one.
Strategically we also lack the troops necessary to maintain 500,000 in country. Thanks to the cuts during the 1990's we're lucky to limit rotations to their already extensive lengths.

Remember that we defeated the Iraqi Republican Guard not with massive numbers of troops, we did it with MANEUVER; employing MASS only when we faced the enemy on open ground. Tommy Franks was brilliant in drawing enemy forces out of the cities and into the open.

Having too many troops during an insurgency only creates more sitting ducks for the hit and run tactics of insurgents (see: Vietnam above), unless you impose absolute and tyrannical martial law to control movement of the populace (see: North Korea). Still, martial law risks the formation of an underground. Even the Fwench formed an underground during WWII -- what does that tell you? Insurgents will strike at you at any time; or, not strike you and wait for you to leave, then undo all of your work.

In this battle, the way to defeat an insurgency is to get the populace on your side as you create the Iraqi institutions that will govern. This is the nutcracker and this is where we failed. Paul Bremer had no real plan for replacing the Sunni Baathists, resulting in a void of Iraqi civilian leadership. Unemployment sky-rocketed as infrastructure collapsed. The dethroned Sunni Baathists and unemployed Iraqi men formed elements of the insurgency. The walnut shell hardened as life became harder for the populace. Who did they blame for their lower standards of living? The first people they saw - the American military.

What would you do if an invading Fwench army took away your job, you were unable to provide for your families, had no electricity, and difficulty finding potable water? I'm sure you'd think "Well, this sucks. Let me sit here on my ass and not do anything about it."
I certainly wouldn't. The invading Fwench army would be feeling the sting in short order. This was Iraq, thanks to the short-sightedness of our civilian reconstruction planners.

In case you didn't know, the military has always been and will always be just one more arm of diplomacy. But, without the work of other diplomatic forces, the military is left as "targets of opportunity". How is the Army handling this? They are the ones reaching out to the people. Read my interview with JACK ARMY to see for yourself.

Their third error is not understanding that the Sunni triangle is the only really violent portion left in Iraq. The Kurds are administering the north and fighting the insurgents. In the south, Sunnis are greatly outnumbered and dare not open a can of worms. Meanwhile, don't blame the Army or the war planners for not having enough people on the ground. This is not the problem. With today's weapons the "boots on ground" could level the Sunni Triangle in just a few days, if they wanted. The problem was that the people holding the nutcracker never used one before. That initial failure allowed an insurgency to take hold. Al-Qaeda saw the opening and joined them.

Today, the populace is beginning to turn against the insurgency. The Anbar Salvation Council is one example of tribes banding together, in coalition with Iraqi Security Forces, to battle Al-Qaeda. Will it continue?

Only if we can prove to the Iraqi people that we are there to help.

My Barak Obama Prediction

I predict Barak Obama will not even come close to winning the Democratic Primary.
"WHY", you might ask?

Because Democrats are inherently racist. Barak Obama is Black. In the eyes of Democrats, Blacks are those poor little children who need Democrat leadership to survive.

It was the Democrats of the South who defended slavery during the Civil War.
It was the Democrats of the 1960's that created a new slavery (welfare) to keep the throng of black and brown people dependent on them.

If Obama was running as a Republican he would have a better chance in the primary. Republicans judge people on what they have accomplished, not on how much they need us.

It was easy for the Dems to pooh pooh Al Sharpton. Sharpton is just another Hellfire and Damnation preacher. It will be harder to rid themselves of Obama; he is smart and charismatic.

The saddest part of this play will unfold after the first few Democrat Primaries. Democrats will claim that they didn't vote for Obama because they didn't think he would be "electable" to non-Democrats (the implication being that non-Democrats [Repubs and Independents] are the real racists). This is the human defense mechanism known as "projection".

Remember, you read it here first.

Only YOU Can Prevent Global Warming

Tom Van Dyke at the American Spectator has gone on the Global Warming bandwagon. He's actually posted things you can do to slow the wormening of the Earth.

Although I am now suspicious about the American Spectator hiring anyone with dyke in their name. (Sorry, was that too Coulter-ish?). I'll investigate and get back to you.

Freedom of Speech

Yeah, I know you've seen this around the blogosphere already, but I wanted to make sure it gets spread everywhere.

These clowns believe that Freedom of Speech doesn't carry any responsibility. Their pseudo-Sartrean morality is bankrupt and their minds are weak.

Since they believe morality is subjective, here's mine:

Another Libtard Tries to Rewrite the Constitution

The blog "Talking Point Memo" is a good example of how libtards:
(1) don't understand the basic nature of the Constitution, and
(2) create facts to defend their intellectually dishonest arguments.
Writing about the US Attorney "scandal" in his blog article (blarticle?) Joshua M. Marshal contends,
"As close followers of the scandal know, the Patriot Act provision, in essence, transferred the power to appoint interim USAs from the federal district courts to the attorney general"
Uhhhh, nooooooo. The federal district courts never had that power, Spanky. You have been plagiarizing from Muckraker and didn't check your facts.

Article II of the Constitution gives the EXECUTIVE the power to appoint these officers of the EXECUTIVE branch. The JUDICIAL branch (federal district courts) never had that power (see Title 28, Section 35, paragraph 541).

You see, Josh, there's this little Madisonian concept of Separation of Powers that precludes one branch from interfering with another. The Judicial Branch has no power to make EXECUTIVE BRANCH appointments.

Further, the Legislative Branch (specifically the Senate) is only given oversight to ensure EXECUTIVE Branch appointments are not abusive or based on cronyism (like Chuck Schumer's wife did at the NY Department of Transportation). But even then, the EXECUTIVE can appoint these persons when the Senate is in recess -- making the Legislative Branch unnecessary.

Furthermore, section 2 of Article II states:
...the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.
Which is exactly what was done when the Patriot Act Reauthorization allowed Gonzalez to make appointments, but even then, it it only extended the 120 day appointment authority he already had.

Here's something else you probably missed; it's Title 28, Section 35, paragragh 541 (c):

(c) Each United States attorney is subject to removal by the President

Mr. Marshall, class is over.
You are dismissed.

the Let's Bitch Our Way Out Of Iraq bill - Third Attempt

By the slimmest of margins, 218-212, Nancy "Botox" Pelosi finally succeeded.
She cobbled together a plan for RETREATING that met the level of DISGRACE suitable for most DumbasCraps (and even two Libtard Repugnicans).

The Let's Bitch Our Way Out Of Iraq legislation has more lard than AlGore sweats off under the steamy Global Warming sun. BUT, what it's missing is $2 BILLION dollars of warfighting equipment that the US ARMY requested.

Grandma Botox obviously decided that her warfighting plan is much better than one put forward by those silly Army people. Those buffoons really didn't need all those over-priced government contracted weapons, anyway.

Instead, she created a secret weapon that she is absolutely sure will simultaneously help re-elect Democrats and defeat terrorism.

Introducing her latest plan for winning in Iraq:

(Mouse over, then click on Preview)

We also finally found some Democrats that have the common sense necessary to support our troops, rather than CUT AND RUN. These folks (who likely will lose all seats on Congressional committees) include:
Reps. John Barrow (D-Ga.), Dan Boren (D-Okla.), Lincoln Davis (D-Tenn.), Jim Marshall (Ga.), Jim Matheson (D-Utah), Michael Michaud (D-Maine), Gene Taylor (D-Miss).

Liberal Attacks on the First Amendment

Big Dog posts about the young lady whose First Amendment rights were violated by her school when they prohibited her from wearing a T-shirt that displayed "Be Happy, Not Gay".

She wore this shirt the day after the school celebrated diversity (degeneracy) by having a Day of Silence in support of the homosexual agenda.
They told her to take off the shirt or leave school. Now she is suing the Libtard deniers of Constitutional Rights. Need any money for that lawsuit?

How about a different shirt. Try this one, maybe they won't censor you:

NEWS FROM THE FRONT - Interview with a Warrior

This installment is an interview with one of the heroes born of our society. He may not view himself as a hero, but from my military experience in joint operations, I know that the Marines and Army are doing the heavy lifting to engage an enemy that would rather be here blowing up your shopping malls. This News From the Front is dedicated to JACK ARMY.

SFC Thomas Nichols is also a fellow blogger and posts at JACK ARMY as well as guest blogging: VA JOE.

He gives his views on his current mission, the Army and even Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Here’s what he had to say:

In which province are you currently deployed (if you can tell)?
I am deployed in the Saladin Province. The area that my unit operates in is relatively calm but there is still a threat. There are people that are taking advantage of the situation for personal gain, but the Iraqi Police in this area are stepping up to that challenge more and more every day.
(NOTE: Salah ad-Din includes Tikrit and Samarra - two formerly very anti-American areas.)

How do the Iraqi civilians view/treat you and your soldiers?
We are generally well received by the civilians in this area. Coalition Forces do not have as large a presence in this area as in some other places in Iraq, but the locals are used to seeing us and treat us well. I think that my commander has a lot to do with that, though. He has worked hard to develop friendships in this area with local leaders and it shows. He treats everyone with respect and dignity and even when we can’t help, he still listens to their problems and offers alternate solutions. A lot of times, just showing that he cares is enough to make the Iraqi people we work with feel better. Of course, he attempts to guide them to solutions to their problems and if it is something that we can do, like provide security during important events, he is quick to offer help. In our time here, we have seen the people grow more and more friendly toward us. When we started waving at passing motorists and pedestrians as we drove by in our up-armored humvee’s, people looked confused and unsure what we were doing. Now, we wave and smile and get waves and smiles in return.
Now, this doesn’t mean that everything is always roses and sunshine. There was one patrol to a small town in our sector and some teenage boys threw rocks at one of our trucks. They were in a schoolyard behind a wall, but there was no doubt where the rocks came from. Nobody was hurt, but we had a stern conversation with the school principal and haven’t had any problems since. It did not seem that there was an “anti-American” thing going on, just some boys goading each other into doing something stupid. I remember doing the same sorts of things when I was that age.

Have you heard or sensed any shift in Iraqis against insurgents (i.e. the Anbar Salvation Council is allegedly fed up with Al-Qaeda and are now battling them in places like Habbaniyah)?
Yes, there is a definite shift in how Iraqis view insurgents. Iraqis are turning in insurgents, calling when they see IEDs and even chasing away bad guys in some cases. Is it enough? No, not yet, but it is improvement and hopefully the momentum is shifting enough to make it a permanent thing. Only time will tell.

How long have you been there; how long until redeployment?
With just over seven months completed, we redeploy back to Schofield barracks in about five months or so. I haven’t heard a specific date yet. I don’t focus on that, though, because it tends to lead to complacency and that is not good. A year is a long time, not nearly enough to finish the work of fighting an insurgency, but for a family it is very long.
(How many of you are willing to spend a full year away from your family?)

Have you had any contact with journalists during your tour? (I read Bill Roggio virtually everyday since he seems to bring the best information without editorials.)
A couple by email. In fact, I just responded to an email interview from a journalist from a magazine called the Global Journalist . There have been a few here in person, but I didn’t conduct personal interviews with any of them.

As a followup -- Have you had any DVs for which you had to put on the requisite “dog and pony” show? Choose one of the following to describe the visit:
• I felt he/she brought a great deal to raise morale to my troops
• He/She asked a few questions, but really didn’t seem all that interested
• He/She just came for a “Photo Op”
We have had a few Distinguished Visitors, but I don’t feel we put on a dog and pony show for them. The highest ranking visitor was a major general… Did we take special care in presenting a professional appearance? Sure, but not the typical garrison “spit and polish” show. My commander and I have the philosophy that we will not change the standard for visitors, meaning that if it is the right thing to do because the brigade commander is visiting, then it is the right thing to do all the time. We really don’t spend much time preparing for distinguished visitors.
(NOTE: Sounds like great leadership philosophy. I expected nothing less from our great military professionals.)

What gives you the greatest satisfaction with your current mission? What gives you the least?
The best part is seeing the Iraqis take charge of situations in the area. From IED discoveries to crowd control to providing security for pilgrims moving through the area, the Iraqi Army and Police are performing more and more of those tasks with less involvement from Coalition Forces. We are able to mentor and guide more than having to take charge and lead them by the nose. The least satisfaction comes on days when we can’t do what we planned, for example, our medic planned and coordinated for a three-day combat lifesaver course for the Iraqi Army troops. The IA medics would train the IA Soldiers under his supervision. He coordinated this training several weeks prior and even confirmed the training the day prior. At the appointed time, nobody showed for the training, not even the medics. When the IA battalion staff was asked what was going on, they simply forgot. Frustrating. Not the end of the world, I know, but a distinct challenge in maintaining motivation and mission focus. Is it merely a cultural difference? I’m not sure, but I am disappointed by it.

If you were General Schoomaker for one day, what changes would you make?
Wow. That is a tough question. I probably wouldn’t make any changes. I don’t have the lifetime of experiences and training that he has and I haven’t had months of briefings and intel dumps that he has received. It wouldn’t make sense for me to make changes without the information that he has.”
(Besides getting rid of Velcro on Army uniforms) the Army is a good organization with good people. There are teams of Soldiers with the job of making recommendations for changes to the top leaders. Those are the guys that should be answering this question.”

Here’s something I would do if I were king for a day: I’d make myself the official blogger for MNCI. I’d travel around the theater of operations and interview troops and observe first hand all the things we are doing and report on them with a military man’s eye for detail. Would it all be good news? Not if I could blog the way I want to. I want to tell the story of Iraq as it is, not as I want it to be. It would mostly be good news, though, because that is what is mostly going on: infrastructure projects, new schools and medical clinics, humanitarian programs, security operations, etc. If I could go home for a couple of weeks every four months or so, this would be my dream job and I’d like to think I’d do a great service to the Army and MNCI. Press releases are great and all, but that’s old school. Blogging is the new media and we (the military) need to get our message out in the blogosphere as well as the traditional media venues.

When you hear those who haven’t served and do not seem particularly informed comment on military operations, what is your first reaction?
I’m pleased that they are even paying attention to what is going on. I feel like too many Americans don’t even know what is going on in Iraq, Afghanistan or elsewhere that they don’t bother to comment because they don’t know. Are there commentators that are misinformed or underinformed? Sure, but at least they are trying to participate in the discussion about what is going on. I do think that many people speak before listening, though. What I mean is that they take one news article or commentary and run with it, forming opinions and making political statements without gathering more information and opinions. I wish more folks would read more and listen more to the folks that are fighting this war.
Among the services the Army has always been known to focus less on facilities and more on warfighting systems. Were you surprised at the civilian media's focus on Walter Reed AMC?
No, I wasn’t surprised in the least. The sudden focus was obviously politically motivated. There is a segment of our country that is engaged in an all-out war against the current administration and the current commander-in-chief in particular. I don’t know why exactly, but it is destructive and demotivating, to say the least. I commented on the crux of your question on my blog, the fact that facilities have always gotten shortshrifted in the Army while equipment and training has been top-notch for the most part. The good news is that despite the less-than-sincere motives, the troops and veterans will benefit from this “uproar”. While I believe that the same media and politicians who’ve been in and out of Walter Reed many times and suddenly find the conditions appalling are hypocrites, the increased scrutiny will hopefully spur Congress to spend the money to make our military and veterans hospitals the quality facilities that they should be. I’m not talking about turning them into hospital versions of five-star hotels, just clean and functional facilities that any American would be proud of.

Thanks to SFC Nichols and all of our warriors who taking the fight to the enemy in this generational Global War on Terror. I have faith in SFC Nichols to keep the troops focused and motivated no matter what the enemy and the defeatists throw at them.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. -- John Stuart Mill

Whatever Happened to Barge and Weiner - Chucky Schumer’s Watergate

Did everyone forget about the two Democratic staffers who illegally accessed Maryland’s Lt Gov Richard Steele’s credit report in September 2005?

With identity theft a major and growing issue in this country, two of Senator Chuck Schumer’s staffers, (members of his Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee [DSCC]), used Michael Steele’s social security number like common criminals to access Steele's personal records. Posing as an individual to obtain their credit report is punishable by up to 2 years in prison...

Did Chuck Schumer divest himself of his relationship with Barge and Weiner? No, in fact the DSCC paid the legal fees once Chucky's cronies were caught ($400 an hour).

This crime occurred in September of 2005. Why is this important now?
Weiner pled guilty to the charges in March 2006. Weiner is supposed to return to court one year later (this week) to find out her sentence.

If she successfully completed community service, the charges will be dropped and another DumbasCrap operative gets away with a felony while the DumbasCrap leaders accuse Bush of corruption.

Where was the leadership of the DSCC? This type of illegal activity shows a fundamental lack of leadership at the highest level…the leadership of Chuck Schumer.

Senator CHUCK SCHUMER SHOULD IMMEDIATELY RESIGN FROM THE DEMOCRATIC SENATORIAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE and THE SENATE!!!

Write or call your Congressmen today and demand accountability of the corruption of Congress by those who blatantly support criminal activity by their staffs.

Federal Wiretap of a Domestic Terrorist Group

The wiretaps of the home-grown terrorist group PETA have led to some interesting revelations. This group has been suspected of destroying private and public property, supporting arsonists, and convicted of not eating meat (a felony in Texas).

The FBI narrowly averted an assassination attempt by the splinter group Foundation for Bears, but the conspirators fled th
e area before capture.

Here is the transcript:

VOICE 1: "Biff, do you see our poor oppressed brother? What a crime against
Nature!!!"

VOICE 2: "Why yes, Brucey, I do! Disgusting!
But WAIT!! He's fighting back!!!

VOICE 2:
"Yeeesss! Kill him my brother! Thrown down the despotic reign! Gnaw off that cruel, controlling finger of fascism!"

VOICE 1: "Noooo, Biff, now they're....they're....."

VOICE 2: Making him scrub their toilets!!!! Just like the underrepresented classes have been forced into slave labor by the capitalist swine!!! Why, oh why Gaia do you allow this to come to pass?!!" (whimpering and sniffles heard on the tape).

VOICE 1: "Biff, there's only one thing we can do..."

VOICE 2: "I agree Brucey. We must free him from the bondage that strips away his pristine and primordial character. We must stop the oppressors that inflict this subjugation!"

VOICE 1: "Take him out, my brother!"

BANG!

VOICE 1: "Huh? You missed!!! Fag! Didn't your mama show you how to shoot? What would our leaders do now? "

VOICE 2: "Well, we're part of the Democrat Party, let's ...

VOICE 1 and VOICE 2: "RUN AWAY....RUN AWAY!"

OH NO!! The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Has Returned

In case you're not one of the 1,372,248 people who have already seen this....

Yesterday, the mysterious ParkbarakRidgeobama47 posted the notorious "Hillary 1984" video on YouTube.

When questioned, Mr. Obama replied "HillarysucksClinton knows that I would never (cough)
monicado anything to besmirch the gloriousblowjob Clinton name.

We agree onnothing so much that I feel a true kinship with people like hergirlfriend. I would neverimpeach do anything to tarnish her finethunderthighs name."

Meanwhile, Chris Finnie, a Santa Cruz DumbasCrap had just left his doctor's office and seemed confused when he said:

"Like dude, we need to vote those damn fascist Republicans out of Congress, man. Like, fight the power! This is part of that vast right wing conspiracy that's trying to impeach my man, Bill. Fight 'em Bill, Fight 'em, Big Dude!"

When reminded that it was now 2007 AD and the Democrats were in charge of Congress, Mr Finnie exclaimed,

"Whooooooa, those Bong Hits for Jesus really do work! Thank you Jeeeeesus!"

The Anbar Salvation Council

I have a little fella who likes to stop by my blog and decry the vicious vagaries of my violent vituperations against liberals. I try to explain to him that libtards are pusillanimous and ignorant, to which he usually replies "I know you are but what am I".

Recently I posted on his blog that the tribal leaders were turning against Al Qaeda in Iraq. Even though I always provide links, he still can't get it.

So FRED, here's another one for you:

The Anbar Salvation Council has had enough of Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has targeted tribal leaders who don't agree with them or won't cede them power.

The ASC has constructed their own coalition of tribes to fight the terrorists. Now, they're working along side the Iraqi Security Forces as those forces "stand up".

Jihaaaaadiiiiis beware. Them old tribal fellers are feelin' their oats in Iraq...and it ain't looking good for y'all.
