The DumbasCraps Next Big Plan - My Prediction

Today in the Senate the debate over S-CHIP continued. What is S-CHIP? It's the State Children's Health Insurance Program. Within one week the Democrats (see Demagogues) will be SCREAMING that the evil Republicans don't want to fund health care for poor children.

So, what's the story?

S-CHIP was authorized 10 years ago and cost $24 Billion dollars. The first question you should ask is, why the Federal Government is funding state programs. Isn't it the responsibility of the STATE to fund a STATE program?

The Feds provided matching funds for states to help obtain medical insurance funding for poor children. Okay, I can buy that. If the states contribute, then a little scratch from the Feds isn't so bad, is it?

However, the slippery slope has officially been greased by the DumbasCraps.
Several states have already been granted waivers to expand S-CHIP to cover children who live at 200% poverty (in other words, their families make twice as much as the poverty line.) Some states have asked to provide health care for children living near 400% poverty ($60-70K per year in income).
Additionally, some states have used S-CHIP to cover adults, and even more, Section 2105 (c)3 ALLOWS for coverage to be expanded to families.

Now the Democrats want to
more than double the original authorization from $24 Billion to $60 Billion dollars. Not only that, the Dumbs want to expand coverage to CHILDLESS ADULTS.

This is NOT about the children, no matter what Harry "Land Grab" Reid screams into the MSM microphones.

What do you call it when MEDICAID fails; when doctors won't take the low repayments of that program? What do you call it when the Federal Government throws more money at a failed single-payer system? What about the expansion of this program beyond just children?

I call it one more step toward Nationalized Health Care.

And who's helping the DumbasCraps pimp this program? How about Johnson & Johnson.

Ya' think they'll get any part of that $60 Billion dollars in new Federal Spending?

If you live in a BLUE state, call your Senator and tell them you aren't buyin' what they're sellin'.

Tale of the Perfumed Princes -- or Why We Should Have Term Limits

The Federalist Papers outline the thoughts of the founders on balancing the need for new ideas in government against the need for consistency in laws. The Senate is the body that provides this balance.

Senate terms of 6 years ensure that laws aren't arbitrarily rewritten every two years. However, this need for consistency was not meant that we keep the same folks in office for multiple consecutive terms. There is still a need for fresh blood.

I believe Senators should be limited to four terms -- that's 24 years, plenty of time sucking the government teat and living like Kings. It is much too easy to think you are someone above the people when you euphemistically "serve" for such a long time ...and here's proof:

- This list shows the names of Senators and the year they were elected to the Sen
ate.

- *Since power corrupts, I thought I would also list the fruits of political corruption. In parenthesis is the amount of money DEMOCRATS took from Jack Abramoff's activities - the biggest "REPUBLICAN" ethical scandal in recent history (according to the Moonbats):

1959 Robert C. Byrd, (D-WV) - Babbling old dunderhead - "Can you HEAR me?" (Even Abramoff didn't give money to this useless old turd).

1962 Edward M. Kennedy, (D-MA) - Can you spell "N-E-G-L-I-G-E-N-T...H-O-M-I-C-I-D-E"? No, okay, how about Drunken Fat Bastard? ($3,300* in Abramoff money)

1963 Daniel K. Inouye, (D-HI) - Too old to get that "technology" thing. Check his website. ($9,000*)

1968 Ted Stevens, (R-AK) - A republican Perfumed Prince responsible for the "Bridge to Nowhere". Aided in Republicans losing the 2006 election.

1973 Joseph R. Biden, Jr. (D-DE) - The hair-plugged, tooth-capped, plagiarist of Neil Kinnock who has such an exaggerated sense of self-worth he actually ran for President twice....BWAHAHA (and his middle name is "Robinette".) ($1,250*)

1975 Patrick Leahy, (D-VT) - AKA "Leaky Leahy" . This codger lacks the common sense God gave a screwdriver. His repeated leaks of classified information have made this country less safe (doesn't he accuse Bush of that) and cost the life of at least one intelligence asset. One day in the Senate chambers he learned that Dick Cheney does not suffer fools well when the Veep told him to "go F*CK yourself" -- right on, Dick! ($4,000*)

1977 Richard G. Lugar, (R-IN) - The latest vacillator who sees the next election coming soon. So, what does he do? He flip-flops on supporting the troops. Hmmm, a political career or troops in the field, what is more important to Lugar? Does he look like Droopy to you too?

1977Orrin G. Hatch, (R-UT) -- He's one of the few generally good guys and would be missed. But, don't worry, he'll have plenty of Senate Retirement money coming.

1978 Max Baucus, (D-MT) - Who? What has he done? (Though he did receive $22,500 in money linked to Jack Abramoff. But remember the Left will tell you it was only Republicans who were involved.)

1978 Thad Cochran, (R-MS) -- Again, who? If you can't make a name for yourself in 29 years, try something else.

1979 John W. Warner, (R-VA) -- "Lugar- esque" in his view of fighting terrorism. As long as it doesn't threaten his re-election, he'll fight the terrorists. He's one of the main reasons housing terrorists at GITMO is being questioned.

1979 Carl M. Levin, (D-MI) - In 1998 and 2002 he was sure Saddam had WMDs. In fact, on Sept 19, 2002 he said "(Saddam Hussein) has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." Wasn't Bill Clinton the President in 1998? Did he lie to you too, poor old, tired Carl? ($6,000*)

1981 Christopher J. Dodd, (D-CT) - He of the ill-fitted dentures must believe he is the reincarnation of Washington. But Washington never made a "waitress sandwich" with Fat Bastard (see Kennedy) while their dates were in the restroom. ($14,792*)

1981 Charles E. Grassley, (R-IA) - Another good guy who will be missed, but sometimes you DO have to throw out the baby with the (filthy, fetid) bathwater.

1981 Arlen Specter, (R-PA) - Is he really a Republican? Nah, he's definitely a RINO. Since he can't really decide which party he wants to support, let him think about it while he's out of office.

1983 Jeff Bingaman, (D-NM) - He only took $2,000 of Abramoff linked money. Good for you, but you've still been here too long.

That covers the last 24 years. If we implement a 4-term limit, who gets put out on the street next:

1985 - John F. Kerry, (D-MA) ($98,000*) and Tom Harkin, (D-IA) ($45,750*)

Need I say more?

And while we're looking at corruption, let's look at some other Dems who are not yet eligible for my 24-year term limit:

What about the sterling, squeaky clean Mr Harry "Land Grab" Reid? Seems Harry received over $68,000 from Abramoff linked funds. Here's one article that outlines that $68,000 payday for "Nuts".

A total of 39 current Democrat Senators received money through Jack Abramoff. Want more?

Hillary: $12,950
Obama: $7,500
Chucky Schumer: $29,550

What does it say about a state that continues to re-elect the same idiots back to Congress. Is the intellectual reservoir of these states so low that they feel there is no one who can do a better job?

Massachusetts...I'm writing this for you.

Barack Obama -- the Next President

BARACK OBAMA should be the next President of the United States. His courage, good looks, and charm outshine any of the other candidates and without question he has a new plan for taking back America.

Get out the vote and make it count. Ensure you hit every house, on every street, in every city. Make sure you know OBAMA's policies and if you don't simply point them to his website.

Hey folks, there's a website for Obama
that seems to auto-link to anything mentioning his name (as evidenced by THIS LINK and THIS ONE TOO).

Okay, time to take let you in on the joke.
The lead-in (above) is the bait. I am counting on the short attention span of the libtards that check for new posts at Obamability to NOT read this far down. All that stuff I wrote before made me so ill that I had to go wash my typing fingers off before continuing to this part.

So let's have some fun and see if their webcrawlers find this post. Here goes...
Today, Dave Obama, no relation to BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, was charged with sexual misconduct with a goat on the fourth floor of the campaign headquarters for Jerry Obama (again, no relation to BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA).
I'm sure BARACK OBAMA would like to talk to this young goat-pumper, since he's so keen on talking to AkhmaDinnerJacket, Kim I'mSo Ill, and other degraded, pathetic libtard voters. Obama just can't figure out that some people are simply evil and want to do us harm. It must be his contrarian, Nietzschean moral compass that leads him to this juvenile assumption about bad people. I'll bet used car salesmen are his bestest buddies.

Okay, the water has been chummed. I'll check the Obamability website in a day or so and see if I made the funny papers.

Have a good weekend....

Blogger Reflection Award

Awww, RT has given me a Blogger Reflection Award

Here's what she posted on her site:

While Rogue is new to my blogroll, he has impacted me. His perspective as a former member of the military helps me to get a better idea of what is actually going in the world. Not only that, but as an educator, he has offered encouragement, empathy, and resources. I really appreciate it. Like any job, unless you are in it, it is hard to fathom what goes on in it. Every now and then he lets us see his humor, which is a very good thing, too.

Here are the rules:

1. Copy this post (meaning the rules).
2. Reflect on five bloggers and write a least a paragraph about each one.
3. Make sure you link this post so others can read it and the rules.
4. Go leave your chosen bloggers a comment and let them know they’ve been given the award.
5. Put the award icon on your site.

"This award should make you reflect on five bloggers who have been an encouragement, a source of love, impacted you in some way, and have been a Godly example to you. Five Bloggers who when you reflect on them you get a sense of pride and joy . . . of knowing them and being blessed by them.”

My list: (I'd list RT, but that would break the rules...)

Vox Veterana

TF Boggs has a new blog; one that is much needed. He posts from the military perspective on the reasons that war is needed, though war is always a bad thing. Rock on young man.

Angel

Angel always has thoughtful posts. How to describe her? Perhaps as a Godly woman, shy, modest, yet proud of her womanhood. A friend who always stops by to visit (except when I use naughty language in my post...lol).

Brooke

Anyone strong enough to call her blog "NeoCon Command Center" yet is nice enough to post warnings for Liberals who might accidentally find her blog is someone I want on my side. She's another strong woman whose "Burqa Free" poster says it all.

FreedomNow

A patriot who suffers fools not at all. He has had some interesting discussions in the comments section that keeps things quite entertaining.

Vox Poplar

The human correspondent to the MoxArgon Group, Vox always brings humor to highlight the dumbest humans on Earth. His motto: "I'm the bane of the tyrant, scourge of the scoundrel, and a really big nuisance to the smug and hypocritical". When I'm feeling discouraged by the rampant stupidity in this world I can always count on finding something funny at Vox Poplar.

That's my five. I could have mentioned more...Larry at Blame Bush, Robert Goodwin at Den of Hydralisks, Laura, etc. etc. etc. Or big blogs like Bill Roggio, Michael Yon, Matt Sanchez (but they get enough attention already).
So many good ones, but these are the ones I spend the most time visiting.

Hmmm. Where's the MSM on This One?

Probably suckling at Madame Pisslosi's teat so mama can tell them a bedtime story about how bad Iraq really is.

Meanwhile General John Keane, retired after 37 years of service and an adviser to General Petraeus was testifying on Capitol Hill...in the House of Representatives...where Pusslosi lives.

Here's what General Keane had to say:
"Your actions here in the Congress appear to be in direct conflict with the realities on the ground where the trends are up and progress is being made,"

"Your resolution, like so many others proposed, ties the hands of our military commanders and deprives them of the opportunity to use the appropriate level of force for the time that is required to use that force," said Keane
Remember, this guy is a 37-year vet and an adviser to the Commander on the ground in Iraq... ya' think he's trying to tell ya' something Nancie?

Or perhaps he's there to remind you of all the times you berated Bush for "not listening to the commander's on the ground"...

Coming to a Theater Near You in 2008

CSI: WASHINGTON

It seems elections really do have consequences.
The consequence of 2006 is having to suffer through the litany of DemCong investigations of the Bush Administration. Here's the scorecard:

INVESTIGATIONS: 312
LAWS PASSED: Uhhhhh, did they pass one?

Now, reaching out in another investigatory masturbatory exercise in futility, the DemCong Gulag Committee has issued an Imperial Decree of Contempt of Congress on Josh Bolton and Harriet Miers for not testifying in front of their exalted presence...Oh Me! Oh My!

Soooooo, what happens now? Well, first the full House has to approve the contempt charge. What happens then?
Nothing!!!

Bolton and Miers did not testify because GW, attempting to blunt the Investigatory
Masturbatory run-away train, invoked Executive Privilege. Since the Congress has no enforcement power, that means Bush would have to arrest Bolton and Miers for not testifying based on an order he gave them not to testify.....yeah, right...........................................Dead End #1.

However, the federal attorney of D.C. (appointed by Bush) could recuse himself and appoint a Special Prosecutor Inquisitor...nahh....
Dead End #2.

Finally, after ramming their face into one brick wall after another, the Congress could decide to stop all work and convene their own trial.

Stop all work? Congress? no, way!!!! (Basically, if they stop all work nothing will have changed in Washington, D.C. since January 20, 2007).

And, if they hold a trial and find Bolton and Miers in contempt, the penalty is....being locked in the basement of the Capitol....

Really...I'm not making this up. (And while you're down there, stay out of Uncle Teddy's stash of scotch.)

San Diego Padres Have a New Meaning for the Spit Ball

If you wanted to demonstrate to your fans that you have no regard for introducing crassness into a family event, do what the San Diego Padres did...offer floppy hats to kids under the age of 14 on the same day as you hold Gay Pride Day at the ol' ball game.
READ IT HERE

Was this some kind of Catholic joke? Gay loving Padres and kids?

Now c'mon folks, have you ever seen a gay pride event? Cross-dressing, flamboyant, and leather clad rump rangers all in a row? Why would you invite kids to an event that could possibly attract this type of deviant behavior?

- BTW, when will they hold a Straight Pride day?
- How about a Bestiality Day -- the first 100 goats get in for freeeeeeee.
- What about NAMBLA? Let's invite kids to a NAMBLA day.
- Or better yet, let's have a Democrat debate on MTV's LOGO gay network. (oh wait, they're already doing that.)

I have had gay friends in the past, and may have some now for all I know; the key is not to flaunt or claim some natural right to display a deviant behavior in public.

Make no mistake, homosexuality is a deviant, unnatural behavior whether you view it from a Darwinian perspective, medical reasoning, a religious perspective, whether you listen to the words of the head of the Human Genome Project who has stated "homosexuality is not hard wired", or read the psychological studies of twins which shows no genetic correlation.
- Darwin would ask "how does that gene get passed on, and how long would it survive when competing against more proliferate methods of reproduction?"
- Doctors ask "why do you subject yourself to Gay Bowel Syndrome?"
- The religious ask "They do WHAT with their rear ends?"
- The other examples speak for themselves

And before you get to labeling me a homophobe, you should read the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, Vol 77(1), Jan 2007. pp. 10-19
, which makes the distinction between tradition-based convictions and "homophobia".

I'm not a "homophobe", I'm a "heterosexualist"....live with it.

Islamic State of Iraq Al-Qaeda

Bill Roggio reports results of the interrogation of Khalid Abdul Fatah Da’ud Mahmud Al Mashadani -- or in other words - the highest ranking Iraqi in Al-Qaeda's Iraq jihadist front.

And do you know what the first big piece of information is? The Islamic State of Iraq is not an Iraqi construct at all -- it is an AL-QAEDA front meant to convince you and the DumbasCraps that Iraqis are running the insurgency.

It worked on the DumbasCraps, how about you? Even with this evidence, the Dums will continue to paint Iraq as a civil war rather than an invasion by foreign terrorists and an accompanying internecine struggle working to control all factions.

If you want to support real reporting from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan you can donate to Roggio's new 501(c)3 media organization PMI....CLICK HERE

Community Standards

Blond Sagacity posted this article about parents so engrossed in online video gaming that they failed to feed their children.

What gets into these people? The bigger question is why no neighbors or family discovered these horrid little turds who starved their kids.

As our communities get more distended and we separate ourselves by hiding in our own computerized worlds, we lose touch with the really pertinent events in life.

I'm a strong believer in "public shaming". It used to be that when a community found a family, or even a child of a family, acting like asses the public scorn was enough to : 1) change their behavior, 2) force them to move out of the neighborhood, or 3) when 1 and 2 failed, call the pastor, priest, boss, or police to address it.

Today, we know so few that live in our communities that we don't notice when kids are abused.

However, all is not lost. Those who we CAN see are the PUBLIC asses who violate community standards of decency through their lies, demoralizing words, and constant banter that paints America as the root of all evil. These folks have led the sheeple to accept their "sky is falling" mantra.

So, the rest of this post is dedicated to those public asses who need some good old-fashioned public scornin': Get to scornin'...

Yeah, that's a no-brainer, huh?

Senate Tells Bush: We'll Screw it Up and You Have to Fix It

The L.A Times (that's right, I'm quoting the L.A.Times) staff writer Noam Levey wrote THIS ARTICLE on the Senate Democrats' desire to pull out of Iraq.

Levey points out that Democrats have absolutely NO PLAN (after their pull out) for preventing massive bloodshed.

Democrats never change. Much in the manner of Bill pulling out of Monica and leaving a mess, this pull out will leave a mess of sectarian killing. In this case it won't be a blue dress that is stained, it will be the countryside of Iraq, stained red with the blood of innocents and the not so innocent.

Like this school girl killed and beheaded for going to school.

But it is not enough that the Democrats have no plan for the aftermath of the withdrawal, they also think Bush should fix it after they screw it up:
Some Democratic lawmakers argue that it is the Bush administration's responsibility to develop a detailed exit strategy...

"The reality is that they are in the best position to do the detailed planning," said Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., a prominent voice on national security issues who is co-sponsoring the Senate withdrawal proposal with Levin.
Niiiice. It is the strategy of the Democrat Global War Against Bush ™ (GWAB) that he gets shouldered with the responsibility for their lack of backbone and leadership.

Just like New Orleans, when a Democrat mayor and a Democrat Governor blamed Bush for their lack of planning, their lack of leadership, their lack of common sense to call for federal help before the disaster, and their ego that stopped them from allowing Bush to nationalize the Louisiana National Guard, the Democrats now want to create a conflagration in Iraq and blame Bush for the mess.

After the first Gulf War we encouraged the Shi'a to rise up against Saddam. We withheld our aid. He slaughtered them while we watched.

Ready for part two of that little tragedy?

The question of the pull out is whether we can win this battle in the GWOT. If you're unsure of the progress of the surge, and whether we actually are winning read this from Michael Yon. You won't see it in the MSM.

Rasmussen Runs the Media's Numbers

While President Bush now has 80% approval from Republicans and 39% approval overall, Congress still falls far behind.

How can this be when the MSM shills for Democrats? Shouldn't the liberal media be able to help the Dums public image?

Actually no. The report also showed that 38% of Americans believe Dan Rather was trying to help John Kerry in the 2004 election. That kind of partisanship permits viewers to watch the networks with an appropriately jaundiced eye. Nice legacy Dan, but at least you didn't "tart up" the news.

Rasmussen ran the numbers on media bias and came up with these results:

News
without Bias:
NPR: 37%
Fox News: 36%
CNN: 32%

Meanwhile the broadcast MSM only gets an "unbiased" rating of
25%.
Thirty-nine percent of Americans believe the MSM panders to the Leftard wing of the DumbasCrap Party.

Now that the DumbasCraps boycotted Fox News during their debates....do ya' think that might backfire on them?

Al-Qaeda Planting Operatives in U.S.

Al-Qaida Works to Plant U.S. Operatives
WASHINGTON - Al-Qaida is stepping up its efforts to sneak terror operatives into the United States and has acquired most of the capabilities it needs to strike here, according to a new U.S. intelligence assessment, The Associated Press has learned.

Is this the same Associated Press that falsely reported suicide bombing victims that didn't exist?

The draft National Intelligence Estimate is expected to paint an ever-more-worrisome portrait of al-Qaida's ability to use its base along the Pakistan-Afghan border to launch and inspire attacks against the United States over the next several years.

Yeah, thanks for that General Musharraf. Quite an ally you turned out to be.

Yet, the government's top analysts concluded that U.S. soil has become a harder target for the extremist network, thanks to worldwide counterterror efforts since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

WHAAAT? You mean Bush's actions are actually protecting the U.S.? You lie damned press. THe Democrats have told us we are LESS secure. Get with the program! Your press credentials to the Democrat convention are hereby revoked by order of our Queen.

Among the key findings of the classified estimate, which is still in draft form and must be approved by all 16 U.S. spy agencies:

- The U.S. will face "a persistent and evolving terrorist threat" within its borders over the next three years. The main danger comes from Islamic terrorist groups, especially al-Qaida, and is "driven by the undiminished intent to attack the homeland and a continued effort by terrorist groups to adapt and improve their capabilities."

See, that's better. Your press credentials to the Democrat Convention have been restored.

- Al-Qaida is probably still pursuing chemical, biological or nuclear weapons and would use them if its operatives developed sufficient capability.

Errrr...that's a big IF, isn't it? Now you're just trying to use the politics of fear...press credentials re-revoked.

- The terror group has been able to restore three of the four key tools it would need to launch an attack on U.S. soil: a safe haven in Pakistan's tribal areas, operational lieutenants, and senior leaders. It could not immediately be learned what the missing fourth element is.

I know what the fourth element is...they haven't gotten enough Democrats elected yet. Maybe the conditions will be more favorable after 2008.

News from the Back

From Military.com:

War Plan Heading for Tough Fight
Military.com | By Christian Lowe | July 10, 2007
A top architect of the Iraq surge plan said Monday the increase in U.S. forces flowing to Baghdad and its outskirts has crippled al Qaeda, forced the Sunni insurgency into compromise and hobbled Shiite extremists seeking reprisal.

Retired Gen. Jack Keane, Army vice chief of staff during the 2003 invasion, said withdrawing from Iraq before gains are made in securing remaining al Qaeda strongholds and disabling Shiite militias would show a lack of military understanding and could plunge Baghdad once more into sectarian bloodshed.

"That level of violence and instability [created] by a precipitous withdrawal ... will push this government to being fractured and beginning an all-out civil war," Keane said during a July 9 briefing at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington.

"And believe me; you'll know it when you see it. You won't have to debate whether it's a civil war or not."

Of course, Harry "Run for the Hills, Buy Them, then Make a Profit" Reid had a different perspective:

"Americans are not welcome in Iraq at this stage, according to Iraqis," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), said Monday. American troops are "protecting Sunnis, they're protecting the Shiia, they're protecting Kurds and all these folks are after our troops. It seems like it is not a good situation for us."

"The Bush administration is set to deliver an interim report on the progress of the so-called "Baghdad Security Plan" this weekend, just one month after all of the 30,000 combat forces earmarked for the surge arrived in Iraq.

Lawmakers will likely pounce on the interim report as evidence of failure and plan to issue legislation over the next two weeks to begin withdrawal of troops within four months.

War proponents admit that despite evidence the number of sectarian killings is moving downward, bloodshed from car bombs and high-profile terrorist attacks will continue - feeding the "strategic exhaustion" among lawmakers and the American public.

"If we are going to let suicide bombers drive us out of Iraq, we've got real problems as a country in this world of ours out there," Keane said."

Yeah, no kidding...but our spoiled country hasn't had to sacrifice during this war, and so they don't feel connected. This war is in a far away place, against an enemy they don't care to understand.

Baaaaa...Baaaaaaaa....

In some comments in prior posts, LEB and I have discussed the prospect of American Mental Malleability™.

I can find many examples of how (about) 40% of the people in this country will believe anything that is repeated often enough. It's not that they're stupid, it's that they simply do not pay attention and fall into logical errors, such as False Expert. Here's an example of that particular flawed thinking:
Brad Pitt thinks a 1979 Cabernet Sauvignon from Paris is the best wine ever
Brad Pitt is famous and successful
I will order a 1979 Cabernet Sauvignon next time I go to a fancy restaurant
This simple syllogism would demonstrate the influence of someone who is not a wine sommelier, just an actor. But, his REFERENT POWER leads people to mimic his actions and beliefs. This is not the only logical error we see in America. Some people are still investigating JFK's assassination due to other mental issues.

Nevertheless, here's another example of limited mental acuity in our populace taken from Rasmussen:

- 29% of New Yorkers believe the CIA had advanced knowledge of the 9/11 attacks and
- 30% aren't sure
- Just 41% believe they did NOT have foreknowledge

So, 59% of people, after hearing from Michael Moore and 9/11 Truth.org actually believe the CIA may have known about 9/11 before it happened. WHAAAAATT????

I take back my earlier statement...some of them are stoopid...Mus' be dat gummint skoolin'.

And before you ask, no, I will not be baited into proving a negative. Prove the CIA knew, then we'll talk.

The MSM Gets Caught Lying for the Terrorists Again

The Washington Post reports a massive suicide attack kills 23 and wounds 27 - meh, not so much. The problem is, the WaPo got the story from Voice of Iraq radio -- then screwed up the numbers.

The Fourth Rail -- a group of REAL journalists reporting from REAL sources has the REAL story.
"(MNF-I): there was an IED attack near Abu Ghraib that killed one Iraqi soldier and wounded three on Saturday night, and suspected the reports may have been confused."
They also report that Muqretarda-Al Fatass has fled Iraq for Iran once again...did you hear that in the MSM? With the crackdown on the Mahdi Army, Fluff the Chubby Mullah has decided cowardice is the better part of valor. Letting the Americans chew up and spit out his rag-tag bunch of rag-heads while he sips tea with Ahk-I'm-in-a-Jihad must be his Democrat chromosomes in ascendence.

If you only get your news from the MSM, you only get half of the news.....the half they want you to believe.

Hmmm....Whatup Wit' Dat?

President Bush's approval is at 39%

While Congress languishes at 24%

I though the change in leadership was what the American public so desperately needed? At least the DemCong though so.

I could hear their snickering after the 2006 elections
Yes, FINALLY, the perfidy and evil genius of the dumb George Bush would come to an end thanks to leadership of the "pure as the driven snow" Nancie "Pan Am" Lugosi and Harry "Land Deal" Reid.

Whahappin'?

It's easy to bitch, but when put in a position to actually lead, the Dumbs show who they really are -- incompetent whiners.

Even Cindy Sheeman wants Lugosi's job.

News From The Front

Want to know what special operators on a AC-130 gunship do?

Here's an article from Military.com that gives you a little insight into how they operate:

GUNSHIPS UNLEASHED

Do you see the 105mm gun
sticking out of the side?

And Now for Something Completely Different...

After lambasting the Goreacle over the last week, let's turn to things that actually impact our future.

Michael Yon is covering Operation ARROWHEAD RIPPER. Unlike the MSM, who get their information from Al Qaeda "plants" hanging out near their hotels, Michael is on the ground with troops.
His reporting has gravitas. The MSM only reports illusions of a lost war based on information fed to them.

Here is an excerpt from his latest post on the fight for Baqubah:

The big news on the streets today is that the people of Baqubah are generally ecstatic, although many hold in reserve a serious concern that we will abandon them again. For many Iraqis, we have morphed from being invaders to occupiers to members of a tribe. I call it the “al Ameriki tribe,” or “tribe America.”
And another:
when they consider the Americans who actually deal with Iraqis every day, the Iraqis can no longer deny that we really do want them to succeed.
Those Iraqis never met the Democrats.

Go to Michael Yon's site and read the graphic account of how Al Qaeda treats those who don't comply with their vision of the world.

The GOREACLE is Here!!!

The date is 07-07-07 and the GOREACLE has returned to manifest Himself in all his prophetic glory!!! Peace be upon him.

I'm Dick Steele. You may remember me standing in the back of the Valerie Plame Senate testimony. (You know, the one that led to that horrid Scooter Libby being indicted for the crimes of BU$HITLER's fascist regime!)

Well today, I'm here to herald the arrival of the world's Savior -- the Goracle!!! Sure I don't have a silver surfboard, but I do look great in pink!

Bathe your eyes on His plump cherubic glory as He descends from the skies in the private jet that is His heavenly carriage. But, don't stare too long or surely you'll be blinded as Sol reflects sweat from His concerned and furrowed brow. Such a splendorous visage...

Seek to understand His omniscient thoughts on the plight of Holy Mother Goddess. Watch as hordes of acolytes drive from far away places, in conveyances of all shapes and sizes to hear how driving conveyances of all shapes and sizes damages Gaia.

Absorb His celestial radiance as He raises His gargantuan bulk upon holy stairs to His dais as his Holiness speaks. Attend as He gives voice to the Scientology of the Environment.

I will lead a chant that whips the throng into a frenzy. We must convert the environmental infidels...or they must pay!!!

ALBERTU AKBAR......ALBERTU AKBAR........ALBERTU AKBAR

New Job Starting Monday!!! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketSniper Kitty is happy about it, too.

Moving from College Professor and Department Chair to University Professor.
After serving in the military for 25 years, and moving every few years, I can't seem to stay in one place for too long (get a little antsy).

But I know I'm leaving the program in good shape with great instructors to carry on the re-education of the liberal hordes (well, actually most of our students seem pretty conservative. There are only a few who need "straightened out").

This weekend I'll be researching an exposé on an Al-Quaeda operative posing as a journalist.

LIVE EARTH IS COMING!!!

Live Earth will be broadcast on Saturday.

To do my part in fighting Global Wormening I vow to keep my television set turned off all day Saturday.

This will demonstrate my deep concern for the environment.

I urge all of you to do the same.

NO TV ON SATURDAY
.
..pass it on...

(psst, do you think I can earn some carbon offsets for keeping the tube turned off?)

Visit a VA hospital, send a package or a letter to a soldier, buy lunch for the next person you see in uniform, remember how you were made free and how you stay free...

Phoenix Needs Help -- It's Hot Down Here

So we are pooling our money and hoping to pay the Goreacle to speak here. We are only $99,998 away from his $100,000 speaking fee.

"Why invite the Goreacle", you might ask?

THIS OCCURED after Gore's promotional trip to the UK. We could use some of that!!

Won't you help? Send a dollar to Phoenix. Give till it hurts.

Though Shalt Not Embarrass the Goreacle!!!

Those are the words I believe are being directed as Al Gore III right about now. This, after his little joy ride in Caleeefornia.

The Goreacle Part 3 was found driving his Toyota Pruis at 100 mph. After being pulled over:
...deputies searched the car and found less than an ounce (28 grams) of marijuana along with Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall, which is used for attention deficit disorder, Amormino said.

"He does not have a prescription for any of those drugs," Amormino said.

Son, while daddy may be mad, I don't blame you. If my dad was Al Gore Jr., I'd also have Attention Deficit Disorder from his constant monotone droning.

Besides this isn't the first time you got caught with weed.
"Gore had been pulled over and arrested for pot possession in December 2003, in Bethesda, Maryland, while he was a student at Harvard University."
But this doesn't excuse you for driving at 100 mph. Did you know that you burn as much fossil fuel driving a Prius at 100 mph as an SUV does at normal speed!!! Furthermore young man, burning hand-rolled doobies contributes to Global Wormening!!! Yee-Gads! what were you thinking.

As your act of contrition say three "Hail Gaia's" and four "Our Terra's". Then seek ye absolution from the Goracle for your vile assault on the poor, poor Holy Mother Goddess!!!

REPOST: One Marine's Letter Clearly Proves the Bias of the Media

I BELIEVE THIS IS SO IMPORTANT THAT I POSTED IT AGAIN...IF JUST ONE UNINFORMED WANDERING STRANGER FINDS IT AND LEARNS THE TRUTH, THEN IT'S WORTH REPEATING MYSELF...

Remember this story?

On 31 May 2007, SINAN SALAHEDDIN, an Associated Press Writer reported that a suicide bomber had killed 25 and wounded 50 near Fallujah.

"Police said the bomber detonated his explosives vest at the third of four checkpoints as he stood among recruits who were lining up to apply for jobs on the force. The center had only been opened on Saturday in a primary school in eastern Fallujah."
Horrible isn't it?
It's also a fabrication...by terrorists who feed this propaganda to our media. Of course our media, having a particular bias, buy into these accounts and faithfully report them.

How do I know this story is a fabrication? I have the actual account of the incident from a Marine who was there.

Read his letter...and think twice before believing what you are being fed: (accents added by me)

“[D]ue to aggressive patrolling by Iraqi forces [a] bomber who doubtless wanted to target the civilians at the headquarters itself in order to cause the most catastrophic effects, was forced to detonate his vest almost a half-mile away when he was halted by police. He succeeded in causing superficial wounds to one Iraqi civilian, as well as killing himself. No one else was injured, no other damage caused, and in the aftermath of the incident, the precinct signed up an additional 75 recruits for police service. This bomber failed - he failed to kill innocents and he failed to deter the progress of standing up Iraqi police.

“Later that afternoon, from my temporary station at an Iraqi Army outpost, co-located with U.S. advisor personnel, I was checking the [I]nternet headlines when a ‘Breaking News’ alert appeared: ‘Suicide Attack in Fallujah kills 25; Police Recruits Targeted.’ Shocked, and initially very concerned that perhaps the outpost command center was out of the loop on a major incident, I read on:
A suicide bomber detonated outside of a police recruiting drive in Fallujah, killing 25 and wounding at least 50 others. According to unnamed sources within the Police Department, the bomber was able to gain access to the recruit line where he detonated a vest filled with explosives. An official at Fallujah General Hospital, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that he had treated at least 50 people with severe injuries in the aftermath.
"Literally running to the command center, I asked if anyone had heard of a second attack. Radio checks went around the horn, and everyone came back in the negative there had been no further attacks, other than the completely ineffective one earlier. This was, in every way, a false report.

"Yet, I checked the other headlines: CNN, AP Newswire, BBC, Yahoo - all picked up the same story. Over the next several hours, I was nervous that maybe we'd missed something, or possibly that the attack had happened somewhere else nearby in Anbar province, and that the location of ‘Fallujah’ was simply misreported. But, in the aftermath, we found out that no other attack that day could possibly have been referenced. Those headlines referred to the failed attack - but depicted a dramatically different outcome.

"[Recently], Iraqi Police, Iraqi Army, and U.S. forces won two decisive battles in Fallujah. The enemy was intercepted, denied, and in both cases, outright killed. The results of these engagements are as follows: one civilian wounded, no civilians killed; one Iraqi policeman wounded, no other Iraqi Security forces wounded; no coalition force casualties of any kind; eight enemy combatants confirmed killed, four enemy suspected wounded, at least two enemy suicide operatives discovered and killed before they could carry out their attacks (with a third forced to detonate early and to no substantial effect), at least two enemy suicide trucks discovered before their construction was complete, four foreign fighters detained, 200 Iraqi police recruits signed up for duty, and a new precinct headquarters was established.

"Western media reports for the same time period and area indicated no enemy killed, 28 civilians killed (including three children as the result of U.S. action), upwards of fifty civilians wounded, and an investigation underway.

"Make no mistake: the one area in which we are absolutely, positively, and without a doubt LOSING this war is in information operations. We are getting demolished, both by nefarious enemy media outlets, moles, and reporters (FYI - we know of plenty of instances where ‘reporters’ or ‘sources’ for Arab and other news agencies are either on insurgent payrolls, or have known sympathies with insurgent organizations), AND by a collective Western media that either fails to realize, or worse fails to care, that they are often being manipulated by enemy elements. What incredible economy of effort the enemy is afforded when U.S. media is their megaphone! Why spend precious resources on developing your own propaganda machine when you can make your opponent’s own news outlets scream your message louder than you could ever have hoped to do independently?”

Anyone want to argue that our media is not biased? Check your sources.

If you haven't heard this story, please consider linking to it. Examples of media bias cannot go unchallenged. The Information War is being won by the enemy through the co-opting of our media......this must not stand!

The Goreacle Goes Jim Jones/Jimmy Swaggart/Jim Baker

The Chicago Sun-Times is pulling back the curtain on the Left's latest Wizard.
In a June 30, 2007 piece James A. Taylor lays bare the flawed conclusions and naked ambition of the Goreacle by using a novel concept for refuting his "Inconvenient Truths"-- Taylor used actual SCIENCE.

While many believe Science and Religion are at odds with each other, it is the new Religion of the EnvironMental-Retards disputing science more than any modern day religion. Here, James A. Taylor calls for honesty:

Many of the assertions Gore makes in his movie, ''An Inconvenient Truth,'' have been refuted by science, both before and after he made them. Gore can show sincerity in his plea for scientific honesty by publicly acknowledging where science has rebutted his claims.

For example, Gore claims that Himalayan glaciers are shrinking and global warming is to blame. Yet the September 2006 issue of the American Meteorological Society's Journal of Climate reported, "Glaciers are growing in the Himalayan Mountains, confounding global warming alarmists who recently claimed the glaciers were shrinking and that global warming was to blame."

What Sayeth the Goreacle: "OOOPS! Tipper, find us some OTHER melting snow to blame on Global Wormening!! QUICK! "

Being a dutiful wife Tipper seeks out and finds the snow is melting on Mt Kilimanjaro.
"Hurry, let's put it in the movie before Winter gets here!!!"

The Sun-Times responds with:

"Gore claims the snowcap atop Africa's Mt. Kilimanjaro is shrinking and that global warming is to blame. Yet according to the November 23, 2003, issue of Nature magazine, 'Although it's tempting to blame the ice loss on global warming, researchers think that deforestation of the mountain's foothills is the more likely culprit. Without the forests' humidity, previously moisture-laden winds blew dry. No longer replenished with water, the ice is evaporating in the strong equatorial sunshine.'

What Sayeth the GOREACLE: "Gaaahhh!!! Quick, quick!! We need a diversion. I know... with the world-wide distribution of news thanks to Faux News and the beloved Ministry of Information at CNN, most people think that hurricanes and tornadoes have increased in frequency. Let's use that!"

But, the Sun-times also addresses this "message" from the Leftist Messiah.

"Gore claims global warming is causing more tornadoes. Yet the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change stated in February that there has been no scientific link established between global warming and tornadoes.

"Gore claims global warming is causing more frequent and severe hurricanes. However, hurricane expert Chris Landsea published a study on May 1 documenting that hurricane activity is no higher now than in decades past. Hurricane expert William Gray reported just a few days earlier, on April 27, that the number of major hurricanes making landfall on the U.S. Atlantic coast has declined in the past 40 years. Hurricane scientists reported in the April 18 Geophysical Research Letters that global warming enhances wind shear, which will prevent a significant increase in future hurricane activity."

Poor Fat Albert, lost in a sea of science, floats aimlessly toward his predestined fate. He and his followers will soon be just more Kool-aid drinkers who placed their faith in a profit-driven huckster.

Sorry Al, but someone has to tell the truth. The Sun-Times is just the latest in a line of those who grasp real science.
